Bell sidestepped lightly as he cut apart the large frog that shot its tongue at him. Bell had moved through the 4th floor and all sub-sequent floors until the sixth where he had started to find some newer monsters. Mainly, he found some shadowy monsters that he could only kill by striking the crystal in the chest and these large frogs that had a single eye and shot their tongues at him. Bell wasn't too interested them as he moved around the floor, though he was intrigued by the newer environment. The walls here were green and the corridors were much more reminiscent of real corridors, the roof was also much higher than before.
Bell moved easily through the crowds of minster as his knife flashed, the cores of said monsters falling to the ground. Bell slowly moved and placed each stone of the monsters he killed in the little pouch he bought. Not that he needed the stones, mind you, he just thought they looked cool and it wouldn't hurt to have some extra money from the guild. Bell moved further through the dungeon and killed another small group of monsters. Bell bent over to pick up another stone when he felt a sudden presence. Bell couldn't move and dropped the stone in his hand. Suddenly, a shadow fell over Bell.
Bell jumped to the side and rolled by pure instinct as he saw the shadow, just in time to see a large red fist smash into the location he had been. Bell stopped his rolling and slid to a stop before taking in just what had attacked him. Standing there, in all its glory, was a minotaur. The beast had the head and lower section of a bull but the chest and arms of a man. Bell slowly stood as he stared down the red-skinned beast before him, ruby eyes meeting the glowing red of a dungeon creature. Bell held the knife in his right-hand tighter, he didn't know if he could take this thing. Bell slowly circled it to try and get to the exit side of the dungeon, when the minotaur roared, the yell reverberating throughout the dungeon. It came forward at Bell and raised a fist.
Bell prepped himself as it came forward and jumped to the side as the fist flew forward. As Bell landed, he twisted his knife and the side of the minotaurs fist spurted with sudden blood. Bell faced the minotaur as it moved to block his escape, it didn't seem to care much for the scratch he made. Bell knew it wouldn't let him escape, he had to kill it if he wanted to leave. Bell reached inside his coat and pulled out a second knife, the one labelled V. His Dexterous skill activated and he spun his left-handed knife into a reverse grip and held the other forward like a sword fighter would with their blade. The minotaur roared again and Bell rushed forward as it came charging for him. The Minotaur raised its fist and jabbed straight for him.
Bell easily twisted around the punch before swinging both his blades across the side of its forearm. Two lines of blood spurted before the minotaur pulled its fist back and slid its right leg to the side. Bell looked as the minotaurs left fist came crashing down upon him. Bell barely ducked down as the fist and wind blew passed his face and the nose of his mask was just lightly tapped. Bell fell backwards and flipped over his hands before landing on his knees and getting back to his feet. The minotaur came forward with its right fist raised again, Bell moved quickly before running forward and sliding as the minotaur swung at him. As Bell slid between its legs he swung his knives to the side and cut its thighs. Blood came gushing from the wounds, covering Bells mask.
Bell turned as he slid beyond the beast. Bell got to his feet again and prepared himself for the charge again. The minotaur looked at him with enraged eyes and came forward again. Bell smiled under his mask, an easy kill this time. The beast raised its fist and punched, Bell simply spun around to the left of the large fist, easily avoiding the strike. However, as Bell came around to face the minotaur this time, he was caught by a sudden backhand from the minotaur. The back of the hand slammed into Bells whole upper body and he went flying backwards. Bell slammed into a wall before sliding down on his back. Bell slowly stumbled to his feet, So it's not stupid, should've been more careful Bell berated himself for being caught by the hulking minotaur. He could only take one, maybe two more hits if he was lucky.
