How to Train your Dragon (Book 1)

Chapter 1

A dragon roars out as it flies fast as it heads towards a cave and lands on the ground as another figure jumps down as she was wearing armor and a helmet as it was a young girl at the age of 14 as she has a prosthetic foot then the girl look at the dragon as she hushes her.

"shhh Storm you have to be quiet before my dad finds out about you," the girl told her then another figure appeared finding them "Brooke what are you doing with a dragon?" Drago doesn't sound too happy as Brooke jumped a bit and looks over quickly "D-dad? please don't hurt her"

Few days later Brooke was clearly upset about her dad killing Storm as she thought of a plan to leave the island as she packs a bag as she sneaks out of the house as her dad is fast asleep and that her brother had moved out a year ago as she gets on a boat that she built herself as she sails away.

it took a few months as she found out where her brother was living at on another island as she reached the island as a deathgripper came flying and starts growling as Brooke eyes widen then heard a whistle then the dragon stopped as Brooke looked over seeing her brother as Grimmel comes over.

"Brooke what are you doing here?" Grimmel looked confused (A//N: in this he is 25 in this as Brooke is now 15 since her birthday was last month just pretend)) Brooke comes over and sighed "I couldn't stay home anymore" Grimmel sighed "you know father isn't gonna like this at all little sis"

Brooke sighed too "i know after what happened about Storm" Grimmel comes over to her and pulls her in a hug "I know sis you can stay here as long as you want"

Brooke hugged him back "thanks brother" "your welcome sis" Years later Brooke was now 20 years old as she was riding a deathgripper that her brother gave her when she was living with him as she left for awhile as she went exploring and traveling to lots of island as Darkstorm lands on a nearby island.

"get some rest girl" Brooke gets down and pets her head as she goes over to a spot and sits on the ground as she takes out her made map as Darkstorm makes a soft noise and lays down as she relaxed as Brooke shakes her head playfully as she starts drawing on the map as she jumps hearing falling rocks nearby.

Darkstorm jumps up as she gets close to her owner putting a wing over Brooke as she coughs some as she puts the map away "what the heck was that?" Brooke wipes the dust off her armor and gets up as Darkstorm lets out a soft roar as Brooke pets her head "want to check it out girl?"

She nodded as Brooke heads towards the noises was coming from as Darkstorm followed behind her as Brooke saw a cliff seeing someone and a night fury as her eyes widen in shock as she gets on Darkstorm back as she flies up as she puts on her helmet just in case as she flies over to the cliff.

Hiccup heard it as he looks over seeing the two as Toothless tilts head as Darkstorm quickly takes off quick as Astrid came out the cliff as she looks at him ((A//N: in this one him and Astrid are not dating they are just only friends in this one sorry guys lol)) "something wrong Hiccup?" she asked him.

"saw a new dragon with a rider flying off" Hiccup gets up "your going after them are you" "might as well Astrid" Hiccup gets on Toothless back "you coming too?" Astrid nodded and gets on Stormfly as they take off towards to the strangers as they were behind the two as Darkstorm flies fast then she dodges a net then she whines since Brooke falls.

Hiccup and Astrid eyes widen as Toothless dives down catching her as Brooke gasp in surprised and flies over to Darkstorm as she relaxed seeing that she was alright as Brooke gotten set down safely on Darkstorm as Hiccup looked worried "you alright?" Brooke nodded "yes thank you" Hiccup smiles "your welcome why don't you come back with me to Berk" "sure"

They all head back to Berk as they landed as Hiccup brought her to his dad as Stoick looks over and raises eyebrow "Hiccup who is this?" Hiccup rubs neck and looks at her as Brooke takes off her helmet "its Brooke Bludvist" Stoick looked shock a bit "is your father Drago" Brooke teases up hearing that name and nodded. "Hiccup son i need to speak with you now please" Hiccup looked confused but nodded as he followed him.

Once they were somewhere else as Stoick sighs and looked at Hiccup "she should not be here son" Hiccup raises eyebrow "why not" Stoick beginning to him about Drago story "you don't know what she could do Hiccup she could be like him" Hiccup shook his head "dad how do you know she would be she would of done something by now but she didn't she could be hunted by the dragon trappers, cause they almost caught her earlier today dad"

Brooke heard about the whole thing as she goes to Darkstorm as she gets on her back "come on girl lets leave far away as possible it's not like no one can trust me" she says sadly as Darkstorm whines softly as she takes off as Hiccup notice and looks at his dad not too happy as he went to Toothless and climbs on as Toothless takes off to the girls "Hiccup! come back!" Stoick groaned some "he never listens to me ever he is like his mother sometimes" Gobber shakes his head some "he gets some of it from you as well"
