1 weeks later~

It was one week ago when my dad fired Amelia. I pretty much spent all day in my room, looking out the window, only going out to use the bathroom, or eat. Today was no different. I could hear all the ruckus my parents were making down stairs, and I longed to hear the sound of them leaving. I heard footsteps come up the stairs, and I tensed up not knowing who it was. The sound of my bed room door squeaked open, and I shot my head in that direction. Aggravations took over me seeing my dad standing in the door way.

I rolled my eyes, and continued looking out the window. "Hey sweetie, we are about to go to work." My dad said softly to me. "K." I responded back. My dad was about to head out, when he stopped in his tracks. "It...it was for the better Seo Yeon." He said. He closed the door, and left me in my room.

"Tsk it wasn't for the better." My eyes began to swell with tears as the memories I made with her ran through my mind. Tears ran down my face, but then a thought caught my attention. I could just go to her. My eyes widen, and I quickly rushed down stairs still in my pajamas. I ran down stairs into my dad's office, and looked in the drawers on his desk. I pulled out the papers, and a smile appeared on my face. I got dressed and headed out on my way.

*Later that day*

I made it the address, and I rung what looked like a door bell. The buzzing echoed all around. I expected to see the door open, and to see Amelia standing there, but what I got was an aggressive, rude women on the other side of the door. "What do you want?" She was an older lady, deep eyes, wrinkles, and her body was plump, and sunken in. "Uhm.. yes hi... I am here to speak to Amelia." The old lady coldly stared at me up and down. "Let me guess.. you're Seo Yeon?" I was shocked, and confused. How did she know my name? Have we met before? "Uhm.. y-yes ma'am, and I want to see Ame-." I was cut off by a familiar voice in the back. "Seo Yeon?" I looked behind the old women, and saw Amelia standing there. My heart filled with joy. She quickly rushed up to me, and told the old lady that we needed to have some alone time.

The old lady, moved her old body in the house, and she gave me one last dirty glare. She closed the door, and Amelia started. "What are you doing here?" She asked very serious. Wasn't she happy to see me? "I just wanted to see you." I said innocently, and looked down like I had committed a great sin. "Oh Seo Yeon, I missed you so much, but you can't just stop by unannounced." Her words only made me feel worse. I just let my emotions get the best of me, and I was too excited to see her. "I'm sorry Amelia, it won't happen again." She placed a gentle hand on my shoulder. "Hey.. it's alright." I looked up and met her eyes. I quickly threw my arms around her, and she hugged me back. This felt good, like all of my emotions that I had towards my parents were on display.

We found a seat, and we both poured our hearts out into the conversation. She told me how her life was, I told her how my life was, and it felt nice.

*hours later*
We had talked for so long that the sun had gone down, and none of us noticed. "Time really does fly, when you're enjoying company." Amelia said and smiled at me. I smiled back, sad that the night ended so shortly. "Well I should be going." I said and stood up from my seat, and gave Amelia one last hug. I waved her goodbye and started home.

As I was walking home, I seen a familiar figure walking the opposite direction of me. He walked past me, and I turned around to get a better look. It's Kim! I decided to follow him, and see where he was headed. About five minutes later we at the top of a bridge, and Kim stopped walking once we were at the very top. A very unsettling feeling came over me. I watched him like a hawk. He just peered out beyond the bridge. What was he doing? Was my gut telling me something? Without thinking he crossed over the railing. My eyes grew wide, and my body fell numb. Was I about to witness his death? Was he really going to jump? Is he...is he serious? I looked all around the bridge to see if there anybody, anyone to help him. No one, no one but me and him.

I approached him, and I tapped on his shoulders. He jumped, and whirled his head around. I gasped at what I saw. He wasn't wearing his hoody, and his black hair was curly, and messy. His eyes were black, and empty, but they made me feel something, like some type of way. "What-what are you doing?" I asked. "Go." He said, and moved my hand off of his shoulders. Should I just- NO! I wouldn't forgive myself if I left him. "No! I'm not going!" He looked surprise to hear what I said, just as I was surprised at what I said. "Well then... you can watch my death." I grabbed the back of his hoodie, preventing him from jumping. "Listen I don't know what you're going through, but is it really worth taking your life?" He looked down below, as if he were contemplating the decision. "It is. When no one cares for you, and you are all alone. Then what?" He sounded so hurt. "So just leave me to die, please." He pleaded. "But you have so much to live for. Don't throw it away just because people aren't around. Yes loneliness is painful, it hurts, but what's life without pain. So please don't do this." I pleaded. He looked at me, and his eyes were pleading for me to let him go. "I am not letting you go. If you have no one in your life to care for you.. I care for you. That's why I stopped you before you made a decision you will regret." I stared at him more. My eyes were telling him to not do it. "Life is all about hard ship, and lost, but why don't you show the people who cause you pain what you really are made of." He sighed out of defeat, and gave into my desperate plea. I hoisted him over the rail. I felt like I had won a gold medal. I placed his head against my chest, and rocked him back and forth. I can tell he hasn't gotten a hug in a while because he only pulled closer, and quietly sobbed. Yeah I'm not leaving his side for a long time.....
