~a couple of weeks later
Me and Kim exchanged phone numbers, and we were texting pretty often. He still isn't opening up to me but what can you do? Oh yeah one more thing... I'm forbidden from leaving the house! That's right, every since I came back home late from the last trip I had with Kim, my parents are forcing me to stay inside. So here I am, stuck in my room. I was laying down on my bed, just staring at the ceiling talking to God. "Ugh God it's so frustrating! My parents must have forgotten what it was like to be a kid!" *ding*

I picked up my phone that was laying face down on my bed. I had a text from Kim, that read. "Hey we need to talk." I felt anxious. "Can't leave the house remember." I said. "I know, but who said you had to leave your house." I looked up from my phone, and all around my room to make sure he wasn't.. near me. I looked back at my phone, and was about to text him back when I heard tapping come from my window. I took a deep breathe, and looked at the window, and to my surprise Kim wasn't there.

Oh I must have imagined it. I went to text him back but there it was again. I got up, walked towards the window, and looked down. I saw Kim, in his normal black clothes, standing in the lawn by my bedroom. My eyes grew wide, and I panicked. I quickly rolled up the window, and whispered yelled down to him. "Are you crazy?! What if you get caught?!" I reprimanded. "Calm down, I'm not going to get caught." He said calmly. I rolled my eyes. "Okay I'll be down there in a few." I was to close the window, but he interrupted me. "Wait.. jump." I must be hearing things for real this time. "Yep you lost it." At this point, my voice level is no longer a whisper. "I'll catch you." He planted his feet, and held out his arms. Oh he's being for real. "Yeah I would rather get caught by my parents instead." I was about to close the window, but he still didn't let me. "No! Just jump I'll catch you. Plus you don't wanna get caught by your parents you and I both know that. I will catch you." Even while being feets in the air, I could feel, and see how serious he was. "Well.. how am I gonna close the window?" His arms dropped by his side, and his head lowered indicating he hadn't thought about that. "Oh what the heck. You better catch me!" His head lifted up, and he stretched his arms out again. "I promise." Without giving it another thought.. I jumped. I closed my eyes, and I fell for about 3 seconds. When I felt like that I had landed in his arms, I opened my eyes. I was outside, on the bright beautiful day, in his arms. "Told you I would catch you." He said cockily. "Oh whatever Prince Charming." I jumped out of his arms. "So you needed to talk." I asked standing there with both hands on my hips. "Don't you wanna go walking?" He asked. "I can't leave the property." I said. He took a deep breathe, and began to say. "The days I have spent with you are adventurous, and sad, but I love them. I love being by you, and I love being able to spend time with you. I don't know it's something about you, that's just very different." He became very nervous, and he finally said. "Will you like to go out with me?" He asked. I stared at him, and very confidently said. "Yes."

"So if you're ready, since I'm your partial girlfriend, do you wanna share something about yourself?" I said. "Well is there something you want to know specifically?" Kim asked. "Well there is actually. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to, but why do you always have your body covered." Kim looked at the ground nervously, and slightly chuckled.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." He rolled up the sleeve of his jacket to show me something. After staring at his arm it dawned on me what it was. Covering his arms were bruises and cuts. I gasped loudly, and covered my mouth. "Who did this?" I asked, filled with anger and sadness. "This is just part of it. It's something I don't like to show but when the time is right I will show you the rest of it."

He rolled his sleeve back down. "Thank you for showing me that." I said.

Silence fell over us but not awkward, the good kind. And I don't know where, or why, but I knew at that moment all I wanted was a kiss. He started to lean in, and I followed. Next thing I know Our lips have met, and we sat there and shared a passionate kiss. Fill with anger, love, and frustration, but soft at the same time. It was spark a that was set off in both of us, and this is a memory that I don't want to forget.
