Surprise!

My parents had already left for work, leaving me, my butlers (3), and the maids (5) at the house. I had all the butlers, and maids lined up, at the entrance of the house to discuss something important. The maids had their hands folded in front of them, and the butlers had their hands folded behind. The females wore grey dresses, with aprons, and the men wore black suits, with a tailcoat. "I have gathered you all here today..." I started, glancing at everyone for 5 seconds. "To discuss something very important. As you already know I have gave each of you a contract stating I will not mistreat you guys, I even know all of y'all birthdays. But we are here to talk about Amelia's birthday. I'm pretty sure you guys are familiar with who Amelia is. She has worked with my parents for over 15 years, and I have grown quite attached to her myself. I need you guys help so I can throw a big birthday party. We have 3 days to pull it off, and I wanna use that storage room downstairs. It's no where near my parents, so they won't know what's going on." I looked at all of them to make sure there were no confused looks plastered on their faces. "Does everyone understand?" I said looking at them one more time. "Yes ma'am." They said unison. "Any questions?" I asked all of them. They didn't say anything, so I assumed no. I walked up to my butler Benjamin, and pulled the storage keys out of my pocket. He held out his hand, and I placed it gently in his hand. Benjamin was maybe in his early 50s. His eyes were small, and his skin was wrinkly, but I didn't love him any less. "These are the storage room keys, unlock the door, and start decorating. There are boxes in there with the decorations in them, use what's in the box, and I will come and check on you guys." He closed his fist, and bowed to me. "Consider it done, my lady." His voice was smooth. Hey All the maids and Butlers followed him to the storage room, and it was just in a nick of time too. "Good morning Seo Yeon!!" Amelia walked through the door, as soon as everyone disappeared to start decorating. She walked up to me, and threw her arms around me. "Good morning to you too Amelia." I said hugging her back. She let me go, and started to walk towards the kitchen. She opened the cabinets, and then opened the refrigerator. She stared at everything for about 10 seconds, and she then closed the refrigerator. "Okay so I'mma go change into my uniform, and prepare your lunch." She said walking away from the refrigerator, and into her room. When she wasn't in my eye sight anymore, I made a run to the storage room. I got down stairs to the storage room, and the sound of boxes being thrown, and glass clinging next to each other filled the hallway. The storage door was cracked, causing a little light to shine through. I pushed opened the door, and everyone shot their glances at me. They tensed up real bad. "Calm down it's just me." I laughed. The whole room relaxed and everyone started working again. I looked around the room, and from the looks of it, this was going to be a birthday party she was going to remember. Benjamin walked over to me, with a worried and confused expression written all over his face. "My lady, what in the world are you doing down here? Where is Amelia?" He asked panicking. "Don't worry." I waved my hand indicating that everything was fine. "She's in her room changing, and I thought I would come dow-." "What's all this?" A small voice called out from the doorway. I closed my eyes praying that it wasn't Amelia. I slowly turned my head to the sound, and to my horror Amelia was standing there in her maid outfit, pointing at the ceiling with the decorations. Benjamin pressed his fingers against his temples, and let out a frustrating sigh. "Amelia! Hi!" I said upbeat, and nervously. I walked over to her wrapped my arms around her shoulders, quickly removing her from the room. "What are they doing?" She innocently asked. "Oh nothing, just some touching up here and there. So how's lunch going?" I asked changing the subject. "Uhm I haven't started I was looking for you and the other maids, but I didn't see them." By the time she finished her sentence, we were already by the kitchen. "So how about you stay here prepare lunch, and I will go in my room." She nodded confusingly. I ran to my room, cursing myself out the way there for how close of a call that was. "That cannot happen again." I said to myself. Hoping she wasn't suspicious about anything. I knew after that moment we were going to have to be very careful about this....
