(JONAH'S POV)

Gosh, I love her. Carina. Everything about her, from her name, to her voice, and then to her personality.  It's just amazing. 

"Jojo, wake up, Sleepy Head!" Her voice floats through the room.  I mumble something about sleep, hoping that I don't actually have to get up yet.

"Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey."  She sighs, a little more firmly. 

"Nnmhmnolmph."  Comes my intelligent reply. 

"Jonah, please get up before I pounce on you." Carina tries again. 

I open an eye lazily, finding her standing right next to my bed.  I smile and pull her down onto my bed and hug her like a child holds their favorite stuffed animal. 

"My Carebear." I mumble. 

"Jojo, we have to get up and get ready for sch-"

I stop her by putting my finger on her lips.  I snuggle harder into her, almost falling back asleep. 

"Carina Liliyah Alender. I told you to wake him up, not let him use you as a pillow."  Mom scolds, only half upset.  "And Jonah Michael Alender, get up and let go of your poor girlfriend." 

I pouted and let go of Carina, who climbed out of my bed and left my room.  After she and my mom left, I quickly got ready, throwing the first outfit I saw on.  After doing my bathroom routine, I went downstairs to eat breakfast. 
Carina had already eaten, and was ready to go, reading a book. 

"Whatcha reading?" I asked.

"I'm reading a book." She replied, smirking at me. 

"Alright, wise guy, what book are you reading?"

"It's called Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick.  It's the last book in the series about fallen angels and stuff.  It's really good so shut up and let me finish." She said good naturedly. 

I nodded and let her finish.  She loves books so much.  I love them too. A good story is just so tempting to submerge yourself in, and not come back until the story is over. 

Ten minutes later, all of us are ready, and we get into the car so Tim can drive us to school.  I hold my girlfriend's hand on the way there, loving having contact with her. 

She makes me smile, and I'll admit, I'm whipped. 

Once we arrive, Carina's friends and my friends wait for us to get out of the car. 

"Hey guys!  Ellie and Hayden are dating."  Noah says, laughing as Hayden glares at him. 

"That was supposed to be our thing to tell."  Hayden grumbles, smiling softly when Ellie hugs him. 

"Well, Noah and Brooke are dating." Ellie chirps, smiling as Noah lets out a sigh. 

Carina just watches them with an amused expression on her face.  "Jaylen, where's your boyfriend?" She smirked. 

Jaylen blushes.  "Lane and I are just friends for the moment." 

"We could be more than that if you want." Lane says from behind my sister.  I was conflicted. I trust Lane to protect Jay, but she is my little sister, if only by four minutes.
