Finally the movie ends and I can relax. I stretch my arms out infront of me, I've had them flexed in preparation this whole movie. God, I hate movies where there's things making me jump every other minute.
Suddenly I feel something warm against my leg and realize that shifting made me move closer to Caden, which wasn't hard since we take up the bed pretty well. My leg is now touching his.
"Scared?" Caden ask chuckling as the credits roll. I roll my eyes at him. I move off the bed to get some distance.
"Yeah, being in a room alone with you is really scary. Specially after what I found in your drawers." I tease, stretching my legs.
"You didn't find the pink sparkly ones did you?" He smirks at me. He's cheeky this one, I can't help to smile. I love a guy that have a comeback to things I say.
I look at the clock seeing that it's almost one in the night already. I should get back to the dorm and get some sleep. I realize that I don't have my car and Cat doesn't have hers either. Why did we get a ride from someone who lives in this house?
"What is it?" Caden ask sitting up from his half lying position, probably seeing my frown.
"Just thinking about how I'm gonna get back." I tell him honestly. "We got a ride from Ryan, which probably was a stupid ide." I confess.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's passed out drunk by now." He tell me and stand up. He walks over to the drawer and picks his keys up. "I'll drive you."
"No, you don't have to do that. I can get a cab." I say and wave him off.
"Don't be stupid." He say and open the door, holding it open for me. We stand there for a short moment before I give in. Getting a ride sounds pretty good. I decide to text Cat that I'm leaving instead of searching her up, that could take hours in this house with all the people still here. I know she wouldn't want to come with me to the dorm this early anyway.
I walk out of his room first and stop instantly, making Caden walk into me.
"Oh!" He say in pure surprise by me stopping. His arms go up and hold my upper arms in a attempt not to make me fall.
Outside his room is a guy and a girl, making out heavy just beside his door. I almost walked straight into them. My nose wrinkle in disgust. Don't get me wrong, making out isn't too bad I guess, but doing it in public... I don't get that.
I feel Cadens strong hands on my arms and the heat from them make me nervous for some reason. He guides me around the couple before letting go of my arms and walk beside me.
"I would have said Get a room, but my room is the closest so I didn't wanna risk it." He say chuckling. I shake my head with a smile on my lips.
"Safest that way." I respond.
We get down the stairs and out to door, leaving the loud environment behind us as we walk over to his car standing on the street.
"So what's your plan for the weekend?" He ask as the car starts to drive down the street.
"Studying." I shrug. "Have a essay due." I tell him.
"Sounds like fun." He chuckles, taking a turn at the end of the street.
"Absolutely. How about you? Any fantastic plans?" I look over at his flexed arm holding the steering wheel. They are very defined his arms, guess they become that when you play american football.
"Not really, gonna swing by my moms, otherwise not much." He shrugs.
"Sound nice." I lean my head back on the headrest and yawn. It's been a long day since I get up early on Fridays for an early lecture. So I've been up for about eighteen hours, not so strange that I'm tired then. I feel that my eyelids are getting heavier for every blinking I do so I shake my head a little to wake myself up.
