Chapter 4/Training for the saiyans

Y/n POV

Saiyan Saga

It's been 4 months already. Things are going good... For Gohan. His power level is already over 400. meanwhile, i'm stuck at  a measly 250. I have no idea why he is already so strong, but it seems every time he gets hurt pretty bad and heals, he becomes even stronger.  At this rate I won't be of use in the fight against the saiyans. There is only one thing I can do since Gohan doesn't know why.

Y/n: Mr Piccolo I have a question to ask.

Piccolo: What is it kid?

Y/n: Why is it that Gohan is so much stronger than me?

Piccolo's ears twitch and he looks nervous, but then he becomes stoic once again.

Piccolo: Gohan isn't a full human like you are. He's a half saiyan. The same race as Raditz.

Y/n: Oh. At this rate I won't ever be able to catch up to him will I?

Piccolo: Nope. You'd need some extra special type of training.

Y/n: Do you know of any? I need to get stronger.

Piccolo: Look. It's not like you can magically get stronger...

Y/n: THEN HOW CAN I GET STRONGER?! I NEED TO PROTECT EVERYONE! I DONT WANT ANOTHER RADITZ SITUATION TO HAPPEN! I FEEL SO USELESS!

I fly off in a rage. How can I get that power from before to come back? I decide to fly aroud in the sky to clear my mind. After a while I find Kame House and more specifically Master Roshi. If anyone could help me get stronger it would be him.

Master Roshi: Sorry kid, but your even stronger than I am now. I can't help you with anything. i can however tell you someone who can most definitely help you out.

Y/n: Really!?

I'm so tired. It's been three days and I just can't anymore.

Y/n: Wait, is that the end!?

With renewed vigor I continue to climb the extremely long ladder to the god of earth.

As I reach what I believe to be the top I see a small white cat staring up at me, bewildered.

Y/n: Hello Kami! I can't believe I made it to the top

???:You didn't I'm not Kami. My name is Korin, and you are halfway to the top.

Y/n: NO! I need to get stronger! This is taking too long! I need to get back to Piccolo and Gohan!

Korin: I can help you get stronger here and now.

Y/n: For real!? Yes, please do!

Korin: Probably your own death, but ok!

Y/n: Wait wha-

I don't even get to finish my sentence as I am teleported into what seems to be a cave.

Y/n: Whoa. That was weird. What is this place?

I look around some more and find a table with a teapot and a cup.

Y/n: This must be it! Hopefully that old cat was telling the truth.

As I reach for the cup, a dark figure emerges from a pond nearby. I fell onto the floor, startled.

Y/n: W-who are you?

???:Drink the water at your own risk. This is a very dangerous liquid. It has taken many lives.

Y/n: Really? How many have tried?

???: 14 have tried. One has survived.

Y/n: This is some dangerous stuff then. I don't know if I want to do this anymore. Who was the person that made it?

???: A strange boy with a tail by the name of Son Goku.

Y/n: Mr. Son! Of course he was the one.

With  a smile on my face and newfound confidence, I open the lid of the teapot. The dark liquid staring back at me barely looks like water. I dump all of the it into my mouth hastily swallowing.

Y/n: Hm. This doesn't taste very go-

Pain. Searing pain. It feels as if I drunk from a cup of lava. My tongue burns and I regret drinking it all. I can't even think correctly. I start to sweat so much that it looks like i jumped into a pool. That's it. All sense of reason is lost.

Y/n: AAAAGH!!!

I grab my throat. The only sound I can make is a blood curdling scream. Then life goes dark.

Third person POV

Every Z fighter on earth suddenly felt a tremendous Ki. One higher than any they had sensed before. This ki could incinerate any one of them if they went too close. It was so intense it hurt they're heads. But it disappeared just as quickly as it had come, replaced by a much smaller power level of 5000. It was still much larger than all of them combined.

Gohan: Did the saiyans arrive early?

Piccolo: It couldn't be. Raditz said there were two saiyans, but this is only ki.

Gohan: It kind of feels familiar.

Gohan's eyes widened in realization.

Gohan: ITS Y/N!

Y/n POV

I groggily open my eyes. All I remember is the pain and then passed out. I somehow knew exactly how to get out of this cave. I thought it was weird, but I assumed it was a side effect of the water. I was suddenly teleported back to Korin's lookout. Korin opened his eyes in amazement.

Korin: You survived...

Y/n: I drunk the whole pot.

Korin: YOU IDIOT! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! THAT'S ALMOST A 100% FATALITY RATE.

I was whacked over the head with his wooden stick, though it didn't hurt.

Y/n: Ok, Ok. I know I messed up, but i'm much stronger now. Still I need to get even more powerful!

Korin: Well if you insist. Kami is even higher up. You should be there in about one day.

Y/n: Best to get going! See ya Korin! And thanks!

Korin: Wait! Its dangerous to go alone. I mean its dangerous to go up there, take this!

He handed me a worn bag filled with beans.

Y/n: Uh thanks?

Korin: They're senzu beans. They instantly heal any injuries you have!

Y/n: Oh Wow! I can clock in some serious training! Thanks!

I speed off and jump off the edge, only to soar up into the air.

Korin was right. It had taken a day to make it, but I did. I'm finally here. When I make it to the top, I sprawl onto the cold tile floor. As I lay I spot two figures walking towards me.

There we go everyone! Chapter 4 is finished! I have a lot of vigor, so expect one more chapter before the day is over!
