My alarm went off and I groaned and turned it off. I sat up and rubbed my eyes and looked around my room. I sighed and got up and got dressed. I fixed my hair and put a little bit of makeup on and grabbed the stuff I needed and headed downstairs. I opened the door and I see Changbin waiting for me. He looked at me and smiled and waved excitedly. Oh yeah he's my weird best friend.
Changbin: hi y/n!!
Y/n: hi Changbin
We started walking to the school and we were just talking about what's gonna be happening today.
Changbin: oh! Did hear that the murderer killings has gone up?
Y/n: Yeah
Changbin: three years and they still haven't caught them
Y/n: three years...such slow people I bet I would've gotten him in less than 3 days!
Changbin: that's what I was said! I was talking to Felix about it and he agreed with me
Y/n: how's Felix doing though? I haven't seen him in a month
Changbin: he's doing fine
Y/n: hopefully..he hasn't texted me ever since that whole situation happened
Changbin: Yeah I know I told him to text you but he said he didn't want to
Y/n: why not?
Changbin: I don't know he told me he hasn't been texting anyone except for me
Y/n: damn I really hope he's doing fine
Changbin: me too
We arrived to the school and there was a teacher in front of the entrance.
Mr. Sungjin: you two!
Changbin & I: Yes?
Mr. Sungjin: you guys passed the test right?
Changbin & I: Yes
Mr. Sungjin: alright head over to that building that's where you'll be training at for the investigation
We both nodded and headed to the building he told us to go to. When we arrived I see our teacher Mr. Onew.
Mr. Onew: y/n! Changbin! It's great to see you guys here
Y/n: Yeah
Mr. Onew: alright go into that room that's where the detectives are at and the students that passed
I nodded and we both headed to the room he told us to go to. When we headed inside we see the detectives and they were pretty handsome. We sat down and waited for this to began.
Detective 1: alright! You are the students that passed and today we are gonna be investigating a crime scene that happened 2 nights ago but before we start my name is Detective Jinyoung and this is my partner Detective Hongjoong
Detective Hongjoong: hello students today we're gonna be investigating this murder case
They showed us what we're gonna be doing today on the projector.
Detective Hongjoong: as you guys know about this murder on the loose we're gonna find out who this murderer is...we don't know anything about this murder but we'll soon find out
Detective Jinyoung: yes and don't take this as joke there are people that are at risk they could possibly get killed we have already had 5 people killed this week and another one has been killed 2 nights ago so we must stop this person now or we'll fail
Someone raised their hand and it was Soyeon.
Detective Hongjoong: Yes?
Soyeon: hasn't this been going on for 3 years now?
Detective Jinyoung: yes and apparently we still haven't gotten them
Y/n: I can tell
Detective Jinyoung: I'm sorry what did you say?
Y/n: oh nothing
Detective Jinyoung: oh okay well again we still haven't gotten the murderer but we'll soon get him
Hongjoong: Okay So first we must go to the crime scene so c'mon guys
We all got up (there was 6 of us but there are other people that passed they are just doing other investigations) and we followed them to the scene. When we arrived there was a couple of people here and one of the officers came up towards Jinyoung and Hongjoong.
Detective Hongjoong: ah hello officer Jaehyun
Officer Jaehyun: hello detectives are these the students that passed?
Detective Hongjoong: yes
Officer Jaehyun: alright guys follow me
We nodded and followed him to the scene. When we arrived there was dead body in front of us. Some of the students were in shock and tried not to get sick.
Officer Jaehyun: alright can someone explain what happened to this person?
Changbin: y/n can! She's really good at finding those out
Changbin pushes me towards Jaehyun gently and Jaehyun looked at me with a cold stare. I had the chills run down my back because of his cold stare.
Officer Jaehyun: alright so explain what happened here y/n
I looked over at the body and got closer to get a better look of the body. I suddenly figured it out and faced Jaehyun.
Y/n: she was strangled and then got both wrists cut deeply and stabbed in the heart
Officer Jaehyun: what item was used for her to be strangled?
Y/n: it wasn't from rope...it was from chain but there's a burnt mark around her neck so the murder must've heated up the chain and burnt her while choking her
Officer Jaehyun: correct I'm very impressed

Detective Hongjoong: wow I'm surprised
Detective Jinyoung: same
Officer Jaehyun: y/n I think I'm gonna have you figure more stuff about this
Y/n: yes officer
Officer Jaehyun: who's good at finding out finger prints and such?
Changbin: me officer
Officer Jaehyun: Okay you're gonna be having another partner for that
Changbin: and who's that?
Officer Jaehyun: umm you come here
He pointed at the tallest person that was in the group and he came up towards Jaehyun.
Officer Jaehyun: what's your name?
???: Chanyeol
Officer Jaehyun: Okay and what's your name?
Changbin: Changbin
Officer Jaehyun: Okay so Changbin, Chanyeol you guys are gonna be working together
Changbin & Chanyeol: yes sir
