CH.5 The Chills

School was over and I was waiting for Leedo. I pulled out my phone and texted Changbin.
Y/n: hey Binnie can you wait till 8? Leedo and I are gonna work on the investigation a little longer but at his place
Binnie: but you said that we'll have the sleepover right when school was over~>:(
Y/n: I know I'm sorry Binnie but please come over around 8
Binnie: fine but when you get home I get to choose what we're gonna watch tonight since you decided to ditch me to be with Leedo
Y/n: hey I want to be a good detective
Binnie: yeah yeah but be safe!!
Y/n: I will and you too!
Binnie: Okay bye I luv you~
Y/n: luv you too
I put my phone back in my pocket and Leedo came up behind me and tapped on my shoulder. I turned around and he gave me a little wave.
Y/n: you ready?
Leedo: Yeah
He took me to his place. While we were walking I suddenly got the chills running down my back. It felt like somebody was watching me and it kinda made me feel uncomfortable. Leedo noticed and stopped us.
Leedo: are you okay?
Y/n: yeah I'm fine I just got the chills
Leedo: are you cold?
Y/n: oh no no no I'm fine
Leedo: are you sure? I can give you my jacket if you're cold
Y/n: no it's okay I'm fine
Leedo: oh okay well c'mon
I nodded and we continued walking. After a couple more minutes of walking, we finally arrived at his place and he opened the door and let me in. I walked into his house and he followed me inside.
Leedo: you can sit down over at the living room
Y/n: okay
I headed over to the living room and sat down and waited for Leedo. He came into the living room with a couple of files in his hands and he sat down next to me and placed the files on the coffee table that was in front of us.
Y/n: where did you get these files?
Leedo: I broke into the lab and the detectives offices and made copies of each file
Y/n: you what?!? Leedo you can get in trouble for that if they find out
Leedo: don't worry about it I'll be fine
Y/n: you'll be fine?! Leedo you just broke into two offices and a lab just to get files for this case
Leedo: Hongjoong knows
Y/n: what?
Leedo: I got caught breaking into his office and he had me explain to him why I was doing it and he just let it slide
Y/n: what about Jinyoung? Or Jaehyun?
Leedo: they don't know about it
Y/n: and what happens if you get caught by them?
Leedo: Hongjoong will have to explain everything and I'll probably get some consequences
Y/n: I'll back you up if you do
Leedo: really? Thanks
Y/n: yup! Anyways let's begin
Leedo: okay
He opened one of the files and it was the pics of the scene. I grabbed one of the files and it was the information of the person that got murdered. I read through it and it kinda made me feel sad.
Y/n: damn
Leedo: what's wrong?
Y/n: she was married and she had three children
Leedo: oh
Y/n: yeah
Leedo: you think we can get in contact with them?
Y/n: umm I'm not so sure
Leedo: does it show who we can be able to contact with?
Y/n: umm yeah
Leedo: Who?
Y/n: her husband
Leedo: nobody else? What about her parents or siblings
Y/n: it says that her parents passed away and her brother is unknown
Leedo: unknown? What do you mean?
Y/n: there's no information about him
Leedo: tomorrow let's see if we can get in contact with her husband and ask about her family
Y/n: okay
We continued doing this till it was time for me to go.
Leedo: I can walk you home
Y/n: no no it's okay I'll be fine
Leedo: y/n it's already dark and knowing about that murderer can be even more dangerous walking alone I think it's best if I walk with you
Y/n: fine
I grabbed my jacket and he grabbed his and we headed out and took me back home. While we were walking, I kept getting the chills and it's not because of the cold. I feel like I'm being stalked and I'm getting a little worried. Leedo noticed and stopped us.
Leedo: y/n are you sure you're okay?
Y/n: I'm fine
Leedo: you've been looking kinda worried. Is there something wrong?
Y/n: I just keep getting the chills..
Leedo: are you sure it's just that?
Y/n: okay I know this may sound weird but I feel I'm being stalked
Leedo: what do you mean?
Y/n: I feel weird and uncomfortable..I just don't feel safe for some reason and I have never felt like this before
Leedo: let's take you back right now
I nodded and we began walking again. I got a text from Changbin and I checked my phone to see what he said.
Changbin: hey y/n I'm at your place right now well...I've been at your place ever since classes were over oh also you received a package
A package? I didn't order anything. Did somebody got me something and send it over to my place? Or did they deliver it to the wrong address?
Y/n: oh okay I'm on my way back! I'll see you in a bit
I sighed and continued walking. A couple minutes later we finally arrived at my place. We are at the front of my door and I faced him and we just looked at each other.
Y/n: welp I'm here
Leedo: Yeah
Y/n: get home safe. Here take my phone number
I gave him my phone number and we both said our goodbyes and he left.
