CH.8 Dating

Y/N's POV
I woke up and realized I was in my room. I don't even remember falling asleep. I looked over to the side and I see Changbin sleeping so peacefully. I yelled out his name really loud and he jumped and fell off the bed.
Changbin: y/n!! Why?!?
Y/n: because I wanted to
Changbin got up and grabbed one of my pillows and threw it at me. It hit my face and laughed and threw it back at him. He came over to my side of the bed and dragged me by legs. He was between my legs and it became awkward for me. I cleared my throat and then he backed away from me and scratched the back of his head.
Changbin: we should get ready
Y/n: y-yeah
He left the room and went to go get ready. I got ready as well and then we both left my house.
Changbin: So..I texted Felix
Y/n: let me guess you told him about it?
Changbin: Yes..
Y/n: hmm okay
Changbin: he's doing fine by the way
Y/n: are you sure? It's been six months since that whole situation happened
Changbin: I don't know but I just want to think that he's okay. I'm worried about him but I don't want to bother him and tell him that he's not fine so I'm just gonna act like he's okay
Y/n: you shouldn't act like somebody is okay. Even if they lie and say that they're fine and you know deep down that they're not you must stay by their side and help them out through their tough times. That's what I do for you when you're going through a hard time
Changbin: yeah I know
Y/n: don't pretend Felix is fine. You know he's not and he needs somebody to be by his side and that somebody is you
Changbin: right
We arrived at the building that we're doing our case at and we headed inside and to the room where our meetings are at. We both sat down and waited for Jaehyun, Jinyoung and Hongjoong to arrive. Leedo and Chanyeol arrived and both sat next to us.
Leedo: hey y/n
Y/n: hey
Leedo: you feeling any better?
Y/n: yeah I'm doing better
Leedo: that's good. So I was able to get in contact with her husband
Y/n: really??
Chanyeol: Wait what? What do you mean you were able to get in contact with her husband? How do you know she has a husband? I didn't know
Changbin: yeah neither did I
Chanyeol: are y'all doing this case without us?
Leedo: u-um no! We found out by Hongjoong telling us
Hongjoong: telling you what?
Chanyeol: that the lady has a husband
Hongjoong: o-oh um yeah I told them about it
Chanyeol: how come you didn't tell us?
Hongjoong: because y/n and Leedo were begging to know if there was anybody to contact with that knew her
Chanyeol: ohh wow such beggars
Soyeon: oh shut up Chanyeol you're a beggar too
Chanyeol: no I'm not!!
Soyeon: oh really? Because two days ago you were begging me to spend the night with you because you were too scared to live by yourself
Everybody: oooooooo
Chanyeol: shut it!!
Jaehyun: alright alright be quiet everyone! Now Changbin, Chanyeol please stand in front of the room and explain what you guys found while at the lab
They nodded and got in front of the room.
Changbin: So while we were at the lab, we really didn't find much
Jinyoung: wait what? What do you mean you didn't find anything?
Chanyeol: there were no fingerprints. The only fingerprints we could find were only hers
Jaehyun: damnit!
Leedo: um officer Jaehyun?
Jaehyun: Yes?
Leedo: yesterday I saw a strange man standing a couple feet away from the scene
Jaehyun: What? What was he wearing?
Leedo: he was wearing all black
Jaehyun: why didn't you say anything until now?
Leedo: I don't know I thought it was strange but I didn't bother saying anything about it till now
Jaehyun: huh...was this strange man wearing gloves?
Leedo: Yes
Jaehyun: well if you see him again, stop him this time
Leedo: Yes sir
Hongjoong: Okay so we were able to contact with her husband so he's gonna be coming over to the police station in a bit so who would like to interview him?
Junhoe: I would!
Hongjoong: okay but did you and Soyeon found information about the lady?
Junhoe: Yes
Hongjoong: alright get up
Changbin and Chanyeol went back to their seats and Soyeon and Junhoe went in front of the room.
Soyeon: her name is Kim Soojin and she was 27 years old and she has three children
Junhoe: she also has a brother but he's unknown apparently
Soyeon: we tried finding information about her brother but there was nothing we could find
Jaehyun was getting a call from somebody and answered it.
Jaehyun: hello? Oh he's there? Okay I'll be there in a bit
He hanged up the call and looked at us.
Jaehyun: So Soojin's husband is at the police station so Junhoe c'mon
He nodded and followed Jaehyun out of the room.
Hongjoong: So why don't you guys go to the break room Jinyoung and I will see you guys in a bit
We all nodded and headed to the break room. We all just hanged out and eating snacks from the vending machine.
Soyeon: So y/n is Changbin your boyfriend?
Y/n: w-what? No he's just my best friend you should know that
Soyeon: ohh well I think you two would be a cute couple
Changbin: really?
Soyeon: Yeah
Y/n: haha I don't see that

Changbin's POV
When she said that, I was a little hurt because I actually like her. My smile faded away and I looked down.
Y/n: are you dating anyone?
Soyeon: yeah I'm dating this doofus
She points over at Chanyeol.
Chanyeol: huh? Oh! Yeah we're dating
Y/n: aww cute but since when?
Soyeon: we started dating two years ago but what about you Leedo? You dating anyone?
Y/n: oh wow
Leedo: no I'm lonely
Y/n: oh that's sad
Leedo: Yeah but I don't mind
Y/n: what about Junhoe? Is he in a relationship?
Soyeon: no he's single but what about you Wooyoung?
Wooyoung: why are you so curious about my life?
Soyeon: well damn I was just asking if you're dating anyone
Wooyoung: for what? So you could cheat on your boyfriend Chanyeol?
Soyeon: I'm sorry what??
She got up and walked up towards Wooyoung but Chanyeol was holding her back.
Chanyeol: yah Soyeon sit down
Soyeon: I'm not gonna sit down till I beat this bitch up!!
Y/n: Soyeon just sit down
Soyeon: fine!!
She sat down and crossed her arms and glared over at Wooyoung. He chuckled and shook his head.
Changbin: damn there's no more coke
Y/n: you want me to go buy some?
Changbin: yeah I'll go with you
Y/n: no no it's okay you can stay here
Changbin: you sure?
Y/n: yeah
Changbin: Okay
She got up and left to the store. I sighed and looked down.
Soyeon: you like her don't you?
Changbin: yeah..
Soyeon: and she doesn't see it
She shook her head and Wooyoung chuckled again. I looked at him and gave him a confused look.
Wooyoung: you really like that girl? Really? Out of every single girl you chose to like her?
Changbin: shut it you fucking twat
Wooyoung: okay okay I'll zip it

Y/N's POV
I headed inside to the store and grabbed a couple of bottles of coke and headed up to the cashier and paid for it.
Cashier: hello y/n! How's it going becoming a detective?
Y/n: it's going well
Cashier: that's good how's Felix?
Y/n: he's doing okay I guess but anyways I need to get going
Cashier: okay be safe!
Y/n: I will!
I grabbed the bag and when I was about to leave, I bumped into someone and I fell to the ground.
???: oh my god I'm so sorry
Y/n: no don't worry it's okay
He took out his hand and helped me up.
???: wow...you're beautiful
Y/n: aw thank you
???: I'm Yeosang. Kang Yeosang
