CH.20 Suspicious

Wooyoung: so why did we leave?
Soyeon: I'll explain it when we come back to Changbin's house
Leedo: so we found no evidence which means we're gonna track her phone?
Soyeon: yeah
Changbin: what's in that box?
Soyeon: you'll find out later 
Changbin: okay
We arrived at his house and we all headed inside.
Changbin: wait shouldn't we track y/n's phone first?
Soyeon: you can go to the station and see if they'll track it for you
Changbin: okay
Soyeon: Leedo go with him
He nodded and they both left.
Chanyeol: are you okay?
Soyeon: I'm suspicious about something

Changbin's POV
We headed to the station and Jaehyun and Hongjoong were talking. They noticed us and we walked up to them.
Hongjoong: what do you need?
Changbin: do you think we can track her phone?
Hongjoong looked at Jaehyun and he sighed.
Jaehyun: Changbin we already did that. Today actually
Changbin: and?
Jaehyun: it was behind the warehouse
Hongjoong: we were about to call her family to see if they would like it
Changbin: no..give it to me
Hongjoong: are you sure?
Changbin: yeah
Jaehyun: okay
He took out the phone from his pocket and gave it to me. We both left and headed back to the house. We headed inside and the others looked at us.
Chanyeol: well?
I took out the phone and showed it to them.
Soyeon: damn...
Chanyeol: well that's very~ helpful
Changbin: yup so anyways why did we leave and what's with the box?
Soyeon: I'm suspicious about something
Changbin: about?
Soyeon: well sit down and I'll explain it
We both sat down and looked at her.
Changbin: alright now explain
Soyeon: so do you remember when y/n ran into that guy Yeosang?
Changbin: yeah?
Soyeon: I think he's...a murderer...
Chanyeol: what makes you say that?
Soyeon: he came over to that house for his mother. She was killed there and the photos and the letters that I went through were mostly death threats but they were towards Yeosang
Changbin: how do you know?
Soyeon: he told me. Chanyeol went through the photos and we saw this lady was pregnant and I think that was Yeosang's mom
She went through the box and pulled out a picture and showed us.
Soyeon: and this guy next to her might be his father
Changbin: okay?
Soyeon: now look closely at him and tell me he does not look like a killer
I grabbed the photo from her and I'm not gonna lie he does look like a killer. I passed it on to the others and they agreed.
Soyeon: see? And around 1997 a murderer was on the loose and if you look at these letters they aren't just letters, they are love letters and these love letters started around 1997 and it continued until late 1998. That's when the murderer's killing was rising and these letters are death threats towards Yeosang which means his mom was pregnant with him around the time and his dad wasn't liking it
Changbin: so what does that have to do with him being a murderer?
Soyeon: his dad! He could've been that loose murderer in 1997 and after 2000 he went missing
Changbin: so you're saying that Yeosang could be the one that kidnapped y/n?
Soyeon: yes!
Changbin: I don't think so
Soyeon: what?!
Wooyoung: if his father was that murderer back in 1997 that wouldn't mean that he would turn out to be his father
Soyeon: so you don't believe me?!
Wooyoung: no
Soyeon: Changbin?
I shook my head.
Soyeon: well what about the rest of you?
Junhoe: I don't agree
Leedo: sorry
Soyeon: Chanyeol??
Chanyeol: umm...no
Soyeon: but this is good to tell Jaehyun and the detectives!!
Chanyeol: but I don't think this is good enough evidence. This is just your guess
Soyeon: but shouldn't we make sure? Yeosang even told me himself!!
Chanyeol: that the murderer was his father?
Soyeon: no..
Chanyeol: he didn't even tell you if that guy in the photo was his father and plus we don't even know if that guy was the murderer back then. No one knew how he looked like or doesn't even know his name
She looked pretty upset and I kinda feel bad.
Soyeon: I'm gonna go
Chanyeol: Soyeon-
Soyeon: please leave me alone and take that damn box back to the house
She left and Leedo looked tempted to go after her. I got kinda suspicious so I went up to his ear.
Changbin: don't you dare try ruining their relationship
He looked at me really confused and whispered back at me.
Leedo: I was gonna go to her and tell her that she's onto something
I looked at him confused.
Changbin: you believe her?
He nodded.
Leedo: I think this is good evidence. It's not much but this is a good start
I sighed.
Changbin: if you two are able to find something out, call me first
He nodded.
Changbin: and I want you to bring Hongjoong and Jinyoung into this
Leedo: are sure they'll help?
Changbin: probably not Jinyoung but Hongjoong will
Leedo: okay
Chanyeol: what are you guys whispering about?
Changbin & Leedo: none of your business!
Chanyeol: well damn!
Changbin: you guys can go and Chanyeol?
Chanyeol: yeah?
Changbin: after you take that box back, talk to Soyeon. I know she cares for y/n and I know she's working her ass off trying to look for her and I don't think she would want her own boyfriend to not support her. She needs your support more than us even if you don't agree with her. Help her out with this
He nodded and grabbed the box and left.
Wooyoung: you mind if I stay here for a bit longer?
Changbin: no go ahead. You guys can stay too if you want
Leedo & Junhoe: okay
They stayed for a bit longer and we talked about work, life and other things.
Wooyoung: wait so you celebrated your birthday with your friends and you dropped the cake?
Changbin: yeah
They started laughing.
Wooyoung: that's hilarious. One of my friends dropped a cake that was for somebody's birthday
Leedo: uh-
We started laughing again until I heard a loud bang on the door. I got up and opened the door to see someone crying and covered in blood.
Changbin: Felix??
