"Take me home."

Leila raised a brow. "What?"

Taehyung just smiled smugly to himself and got into the passenger seat of the car. He let Leila stare at him from the outside, with confusion written all over her face.

"To my house." An amused Taehyung clarified. "Well? Aren't you getting in?"

Leila hesitantly climbed into the driver's seat. "You're not going home with the others?" she asked, reaching back for her seatbelt.

Taehyung leaned over her from his seat. Taking the seat belt buckle from her hands, he watched her expression change as their faces were suddenly centimeters away from each other. His previous childish grin disappeared as his dark eyes looked into Leila's through his messy bangs.

"I wanted to go with you, Noona," he whispered in a husky tone, his dark gaze unchanging.

Leila had stopped breathing. She backed herself into her seat, unable to look away from Taehyung. Dropping her hand from the buckle of the seatbelt next to her head, she reached hesitantly towards Tae's structured face.

Taehyung followed her movements, tilting his head to lean into her hand.

Leila slipped her hand past his cheek... and poked Tae's forehead with her pointer finger. "How much did you drink?" She asked flatly as she pushed the vocalist's head away from her with her finger.

Taehyung's expression broke into a childish pout. "Damn, I thought I had you." He frowned disappointedly as he sat back in his seat with arms crossed over his chest. He looked like a five foot ten inch baby that just got his toys taken away from him.

Leila let a small smile float onto her lips and buckled in her seatbelt before starting the car. "Put in your address in the GPS."

"You're smiling again," Taehyung said as he put in an address in the GPS. "You look better when you're smiling."

Leila turned to him inquisitively. "Thanks for the compliment I guess." she said as she pulled out of the parking spot and onto the traffic.

"Did Yoongi say something to you?" Taehyung prodded, not taking his eyes off of her.

Leila's body tensed up at the question. Was it that obvious that she was outside with Min Yoongi? Gripping tightly onto the steering wheel she let out a nervous laugh. "Why would he say anything to me, we haven't even met officially." She lied, trying to speak in an even tone.

"Hmm," Taehyung sat back in his seat looking unconvinced. "True," he finally said after some thought.

Leila wanted to let out a huge sigh of relief.

"Then did something else happen?" Taehyung asked. "Because you definitely cried. Your eyes are puffy."

Leilas eyes widened, taken aback by Taehyung's deduction. She wasn't used to this. No one ever prodded her to talk about her problems so directly like this. Not even Jackson, who knew instantly if she was upset. But he also knew Leila didn't like to talk about her problems, or more so never had the desire to. She was the type of person who would put on a smile and change the subject, bottling her emotions up tightly. And when it got too much, silent tears would well up in her eyes only to be wiped away a moment later. She never lashed out at anyone but herself in the privacy of her own home.

That's what she wanted to do tonight. She wanted to run home and scream into her pillow for being so stupid. For putting herself in a situation where she had to look directly into the eyes of the girlfriend of the man she had stupidly fell for. Worst of all, she fell for him quickly and deeply, before she even knew it herself. Why did she do that to herself? She had promised herself she wouldn't be controlled by emotions anymore. Not after being thrown out, neglected, abused, taken advantage of, and hurt again and again by people she was told would be her new family... Every-time her young self believed them, she would be made a fool. Leila promised herself she would never be used or be taken advantage of again; she'll never make a fool out of herself.
