Chapter 24

Zach saw the confusion on their faces and explained what he meant.
" she is mated, I need someone that is not, you " he pointed to Isa.
True, Isa was scared of Zach but she has to do it for her sister. Isa went to Zach and was surprised she only got there in 30 seconds considering the way she was walking.
When Zach brought out an ancient knife Isa freaked pulling back from Zach in fear.
" Isa " Anna pleading voice said
" am not going near that " Isa shook her head pointing to the knife in Zach's hand.
" please Isa, we need to locate her " Jace said a desperate look in his blue eyes.
Isa knew they were right but she can't stand the sight of that evil knife bringing blood from her skin, not just blood but her blood!
She saw Anna close to tears and Kate gave her a go ahead look with a weak smile.
Zach looked bored at her and when he saw that Isa was looking at him, he managed and encouraging nod at her giving out his hands.
  Isa went closer to Zach and took his hands although Zach held her wrist " distract her " Zach said.
" wh-what? " Isa looked around
Zach used that distraction to cut Isa's palm before anyone could say a word. Isa cried in pain but Zach her writ tight and drops of blood fell in the pot.
Satisfied, Zach let her go and Isa ran to Anna, Kate went to stand beside Isa.
" Jace? " Zach called for Jace, he also cut Jace's hand and poured the blood in the pot.
After that Zach covered the pot and took a stick and put it in the pot, he then sink his hands in the pot and use it to rub his face.
Isa cringed back, looking at Zach still clean face.
" ready? " Zach asked.
Nicholas poke his head in the office " we are ready " he said leaving. 
They all walked out to the training  field. The warriors were assembled including those from Brad's pack. But Theodore and his Delta stayed back at their pack.
  Jace turned to Kate " you ladies are staying back and always be on alert "
" we are coming with you " Anna disagreed
" no " Brad snapped but relaxed and kissed his mate " we can focus knowing you are out of danger "
" time is running out " Zach said in amusement that Isa wished to smack his head but scared he could turn her into a frog.
" Toby you are staying also " Jace added.
" no, am coming " he removed his glasses " am doing this for my friend my Luna, please don't stop me "
Jace looked torn. But he nodded his head " some of the fighters will stay back "
" please bring her back home " Isa pleaded
" and don't get killed " Kate shouted at her mate who gave her a smile.
Hillary was beside her mate since Anderson was staying them.
With one last look Jace followed Zach.
" be safe " Isa told Tina, Tina only shrugged.
" have been trained my whole life for this " she said leaving alongside Toby.

Inside the gathering room, everyone was quiet, not knowing what to say or do to brighten the room.
Isa looked around and frowned. " she is not here again "
" who? " Anderson asked
" Lucy " Isa said
" what about her? " Anna asked
" she is not here, she has been going out, and when she comes she will be asking about our plans " Isa said.
" well, we can't say for sure " Anna shrugged
" that's what I told her " Hillary said.
Kate stopped pacing and faced the rest " they found the boundary "

Zach stopped, it has been hours they have been walking, he turned to his right side.
Brad and Jace at his sides.
" anything? " Jace asked
"A witch helped him in blocking this part " Zach said
The others just stared at tress
" I can smell here from here " Zach said " there is a barrier here, if I pull it down we can pass through " Zach raised his hands and meditate he said some words in Latin and pushed at the unseen barrier.
  He did that for at least five minutes before he stood upright.
" done " his mouth lifted in a small smile " we can pass through now, come on "
They changed direction and followed Zach.

Lucy came into Rose's room with a white gown.
" ready for your wedding? " Lucy smirked.
" why don't you marry the old man since you look so happy about the wedding? " Rose said her inside twisting at the thought of marrying someone old enough to father her.
  Lucy walked to Rose and Slapped her face " watch your mouth "
It does not hurt, it does not!  Hell it hurt like hell, Rose screamed in pain feeling blood in her mouth, she did a check on her teeths, they are still intact.
" its necessary to cry on wedding day, so I won't get mad at you "
She losed the binds from Rose " don't try to run, you are so surrounded, now let's be civil and get you into this gown with no problem " she looked at Rose " okay? "
Rose looked away from Lucy saying a small okay. She felt dirty, and in pains.
  Lucy helped her into the white wedding dress she would have said wow if her condition was not a funny one, the gown was beautiful every girl would dream of wearing such a gown on their big day with a smile that will hurt both cheeks at the end of the day.
" lovely right? " Lucy asked admiring the gown.
" ye-yes, " she touch the soft material of the dress " you bought it? "
Lucy gaze went back to Rose who has a puffy cheeks with some colors staining her cheeks from the slap. Rose mouth was red from her own blood.
" kind of " Lucy shrugged " its my gift to you "
" thank you "
A guard  came in " everything is ready "
" we will be down soon " Lucy nodded at the guard and he left.
" let's do your hair and face "
" Lucy, you don't have to be like this, you can still amend things " Rose tried to convince Lucy.
" shut up " she did Rose's head and make up " smile bride "
Rose forced a smile  and Lucy laughed
" you look as if you are about to cry " she cleaned the few tears that escaped her eyes while laughing. " come on "
Lucy led her away and Rose prayed ' Jace '

' Jace ' Jace looked around who was calling him?  The voice was faint and sounded like Rose.
" are you okay? " Toby asked his brother
" I, I heard a voice calling my name and it sounds like Rose "
Zach turned to them " silver and dark magic is used to block thought "
" she must be in danger "
" calm down Jace, we can't fly there, let Zach do his work " Brad said
" no offense, I can just turn back " Zach said. He is sometimes blunt.
" you wouldn't dare " Jace growled at him
" then follow me " Zach said in a bored tune.
They continue walking, no one saying a word, their eyes and ears open.

Lucy led Rose out of the room and down the hall, Rose feet was bare and it hurts with all the walking. A bride with no shoes,  its not like she is going to complain, it can make escaping easy for her, she just need the perfect timing.
  They turned to another hall and Rose cursed under her breath, her house is not going to have any halls, well that is if she succeed in escaping.
Finally they got to a big hall with people gathered mostly Rogues, both male and female, Rose saw the Rogues that came to the pack and they saluted her.
In front of the hall stood a minister and Rogue in a black suit.
So this is it, she is getting married today, what day of the week was today what is even the time?.  Rose was surprise how fast they reach the stage.
" smile " Lucy warned her from behind.
Rose looked at the minister and he smiled at her, so he was a Rogue too, she faced Rogue with the fakest smile ever, if there is anything like that.
" do you Rogue take Rosebella to be your wife? " the minister asked and Rose gasped in shock, that's not the proper way of starting a wedding.
" stop " Rose cried.
" what are you up to? " Rogue angry voice asked
" that's not good, I want a proper wedding so you start from the beginning, please? " she added at the end, she needs time to plan ahead. She gave Rogue a puppy look and he groaned but accept.
" start from the beginning minister " He commanded.
Rose couldn't help but smile a little.
