HE LET his shoulders fall as he breathed in the crisp morning air. He was home. You had your back turned to him, talking with a few other girls waiting by the docks for the ships to come in.

"(Y/N)," he called. You spun on your heels so fast it nearly gave you whiplash.

"Theon!" You raced down the wooden planks of the dock, leaving the girls you'd been chatting with laughing behind you. They were waiting for their partners too. They all paused to watch you crash into him. He lifted you off your feet, spinning you around and bringing you into his chest. You pressed your lips to his hard, tasting sweat, tasting battle on them. He laughed into your mouth, kissing you again eagerly.

"I missed you." You pulled away from his mouth as he set you down. He smirked down at you, but you knew he was trying to cover for the enormous blissful smile that threatened to overtake him. A tear raced down your cheek before you could stop it. He brushed it away with a rough thumb padded, cradling your face in his hands.

"Why are you crying, (Y/N)? I thought you would be happy to see me," he teased. He didn't wait for you to respond as he smothered you with another kiss.

"I'm so happy," you murmured. He hummed, burying his face in your neck as his hands explored your waist. He kissed along the column of your throat, sucking your skin into his mouth occasionally. His facial hair tickled along your neck and shoulder. You burst into laughter. You had missed this; missed his cheekiness.

"Theon!" You batted him away. "Let's go home. I want to hear everything."

"You'll hear everything," he affirmed, lacing your hands together as he lugged his bag over the other shoulder. "And then I say we take a bath and catch up," he murmured warmly against your ear. You couldn't help the bubble of laughter that rose at that. You couldn't explain how happy you were to have him home at last.
