Chapter 2: Rebuilt

*12 years later*

*alarms starts to ring*

"Ugh Shut Up!" Soji said smashing his alarm clock to bits.

"Damn it! Now I have to buy another one!" Soji said getting up out of bed and getting ready for school.

"After this year I can finally try to be a time patroller...just like you mom." Soji said, looking at his mother's broken time patroller suit.

*walks out the door*

"What a nice sunny day! Wouldn't you say Mr. Graves?" Soji said, looking around.

"Heh I guess so, have a good day at school Soji." Mr. Graves said walking down the road.

"Ok now where is Zero?" Soji asked walking around.

"Sup Soji!" Zero said dropping from the sky.

"Oh there you are, were you taking a daily fly?" Soji asked.

"Yeah of course because we're doing that sparring match later today right?" Zero asked.

"Hell Yeah we are! Anyways we should head to school." Soji said.

"I guess so...beat you there!" Zero said already flying away.

"Damn cheater!" Soji said jumping up and flying off.

*at school*

"Alright class! Today is an easy day for you, we are going to be doing an entire last year recap as a test so this will affect every subject! Good luck." Elder Kai said reading a dirty magazine.

"Damn dirty pervert giving us a huge test on the first day of school." Zero said angrily.

"Might as well not complain about it and just get it done so we can spar later. Soji said speeding through the test.

"Ugh fine, still stupid that we have to do this to begin with." Zero said.

*after the test*

"Alright times up! Turn in your tests and the results will be posted tomorrow." Elder Kai said.

"Finally! Let's go spar Soji." Zero said excited.

"Yeah hold on I got to put my stuff away." Soji said grabbing his bag.

"Oh yeah totally forgot about my stuff." Zero said grabbing his bag and flying off.

*after putting their stuff back*

"Alright now that I got everything ready! Let's go!" Soji said.

"Where should we go to fight?" Zero asked.

"How about the Wastelands?" Soji asked.

"Yeah sure, I haven't fought there in a while." Zero said.

"Well Alright...beat you there!" Soji said flying off.

"That jerk did what I did!" Zero said chasing behind.

*at a nearby wasteland*

"Heh you ready Zero?" Soji said stretching.

"You bet! Let's go!" Zero said punching Soji in the face.

"Jerk! I was still stretching!" Soji said.

"How about this?" Soji said, dropping to the ground kicking his feet up wrapping it around Zero's arm and slamming him on the ground.

"Ack!" Zero said trying to get up.

"I'm not done!" Soji said kicking Zero in the face.

"Tch...Haaaa!" Zero said pushing his foot back.

"Wha-Ah!" Soji said getting blasts shot at him.

"Final Breaker!" Zero said teleporting behind Soji hitting him hard in the back.

"Augh!" Soji said trying to breath.

"Hiyah!" Zero said kicking Soji to the ground.

"Ow! That actually really hurt." Soji said getting up.

"Heh do you give up?" Zero said giggling.

"No far from it actually! After getting that good of a hit it's only fair I return the favor." Soji said as his fist sparked.

"What do you mea- Ack!" Zero getting punched in the face.

"Brave!" Soji said having his fist form energy around it.

"No Damn it!" Zero said trying to push his fist back.

"Heat!" Soji said jumping back in the air and making his fist fire at Zero sending him flying into a mountain.

"Ahhhh! Oof!" Zero said crashing into the mountain.

"Do you give up?" Soji said mocking Zero.

"Ouch!" Zero said falling and hitting the ground.

"Was it that bad!? Soji said laughing.

"Just shut up." Zero said slowly getting up.

"So what now?" Soji asked.

"I think I'm going to go home and rest." Zero said.

"Oh ok see you tomorrow!" Soji said.

"Wait a second! Can you sense that?" Zero said sensing something.

"Woah yeah I can! It's like a dark presence is at a city! I sense energy levels dropping to zero!" Soji said.

"We should head over there and help them!" Zero said flying off.

"Well now I have no choice." Soji said following Zero.
