I was sleeping soundly when my mother thought it was nice to wake me up. She stood at the head of my bed and shouted at the top of her voice,' Hadrian Aaron Reed, get up right now!!'

' What, mom? Why? Why are you so cruel with me in the morning when I am sleeping soundly?,' I groaned while getting up.

' It's your school today and you aren't excited?'

' No and am never going to be.'

' You should really learn something from Kev. He was and still is such a good boy.'

' Good boy? Huh?'

' Yes, at least he listens to me.'

' I also do. It's just you wake me up with such cruelty.'

' Shut up and get up, now.'

' If you like Kev then you should go and live with me.'

' I wish but unfortunately he lives in the hostel and I don't want to snatch away his opportunity to live the hostel life,' my mother said while teasing.

' Mom, you are so bad. I don't want to talk to you,' I acted as if I was offended with her qand went to sleep again.

But my plan flowed down the river when my mother pulled the pillow from under my head and said,' Young man, don't think that I don't know what you are thinking. You think you could fool me of being offended and go back to sleeping? Get up. Right. Now.'

' Okay..,' I groaned while saying ad got up at last.

' Good, now go and get ready and be downstairs in fifteen minutes.'

' Okay,' I said and dragged myself in the bathroom while my mother went out of my room.

I looked in the mirror and was astounded by the handsome face I saw in it. The handsome face of Hadrian Reed.

Okay, that's really very exaggerating and sort of girly but boys also have the right to look in the mirror.

' Boys have the right to look in the mirror, Hadrian but they don't take forever to just look at their face,' my mother shouted from outside the bathroom door.

She knows everything about how I think. Even though Kev would be really dear to her but I am much more closer.

' Mom!!! Justt get out of my room, now!!,' I shouted and heard her laughter as she went out of my room.

' Hello bro, how have you been?,' Noah said as I entered the halls of my dear school.

I looked at him with what-the-hell-are-you-asking look on my face and said,' We just met yesterday night.'

' So what? I missed you so much,' he said while grinning.

' Just, shut up.'

' You are so without fun.'

' What type of a sentence is that?,'

' You can't understand it. Forget it.'

I narrowed my eyes at him while he laughed at me.

' Where's Kyler, by the way?,' I asked while changing the topic.

' Might be somewhere. Who knows?,' Noah said while shrugging and at the same moment we heard someone shout our names and Kyler came running towards us.

' Hey guys! Forgot me?,' he said while fist bumping with us.

' No, Ky dear, Had can never forget you,' Noah said in an annoying, sweet voice while hugging Kyler tightly.

' Get away from me,' Kyler said and pushed away Noah, who over-reacted and said while wiping his invisible tears,' No one loves me. I am so alone.'

' Cut this drama of yours, Noah,' Kyler complained.

' I knew my Ky could not see me sad,' Noah said while hugging Kyler once again.

' It's enough for the day, Noah. Just shut up, now,' I said while looking around the hall at everyone.

' Never. I am not like you, scaring everyone away,' he said while winking at a girl by her locker.

' Shut u-,' I was cut when a girl's shoulder bumped into me.

I didn't wait for her to say something and neither did I and continued to walk in my direction.

The girl seemed like she had broke out of an asylum because of her activities since she came running from behind and stood infront of me while stopping me.

I said without looking at her,' Go away. What do you want, red furs?'

' Really, red furs? Mr.Straight Face,' the girl said to me.

I looked at her at last while glaring and said,' Don't call me that.'

' Then you don't call me red furs. I have a name.'

' You are so small, red furs and well you have nice big attractive eyes then why are you forcing them to come out of your sockets. Keep them inside,' I said while laughing and Noah and Kyler laughed with me.

' Don't dare talk to me like that. I just came back to tell you that you should have apologised to me for bumping and it was not necessary for you to be so arrogant. My papers all got mixed up due to that.'

' It's not my fault, red furs. You should use your beautiful eyes to look around also.'

' I. Have. A. Name,' she said while putting a full stop between each word.

' Really? And what's it?'

' Faith. Faith Hall,' she said through gritted teeth.

' Well, I am Hadrian. Hadrian Reed and Faith, you should have some faith in God,' I said while mocking.

' Hadrian? Oh..that's the reason why everything's so dark around you, right?,' she also mocked at me and then went in the direction she came from while pushing me and going from the space between Noah and me.

In all, I couldn't say a word and just looked at her go.

' That. Was. Amazing. She. Is. Amazing. Had,' Noah said with a shocked expression while Kyler laughed and said,' Yeah, that's true. The girl's amazing. She made him to shut his mouth,' while pointing at me.

I gritted my teeth and said,' We are getting late for the class. Let's go.'

' Yeah, sure. Mr...Straight Face,' Noah said while teasing as Kyler laughed while clutching his stomach.
