' Were you out of your mind, Had? Are you crazy? Why did you go away like that? We were so scared!!,' Noah shouted from the other side of the phone.

I pulled my phone from from my ears and said with patience,' You need not have been worried. I am alright.'

' Yeah, you are alright!! Then why the hell did you go away like that?!!'

Before I could have said anything, Kyler's voice came from behind as he said,' Give the phone to me, Noah.'

And the next moment I hear Kyler shout from the other side,' You are the worst person I have ever met!!! Are you out of your freaking mind?!!'

' Look, Kyl-,' I started to speak but was interrupted when I heard another voice on the phone.

' I understand that, Had. We understand that you were SHOCKED when you HEARD that Faith is back. BUT it wasn't necessary FOR YOU to go away LIKE THAT!!,' Hunter said.

' What is the problem with all of you guys? I just needed some time. I was not going to commit suicide or something!'

' But you should have PICKED our phones at least when we CALLED you.'

I rolled my eyes and said,' Okay even if you all are acting like my fathers, I will forgive you. I just forgot about the phone. I left it in the car.'

' You aren't at your home?'

' No, I am not.'

' Then where have you been all this time?'

I frowned and said,' Why does it matter to you?'

' Answer me. It's four and you don't think that Angel would be worried about you?'

I rolled my eyes and said, ' Cut the crap, Hunt. I called and told her that I will be late tonight.'

' Where are you going now?'

' I'll see.'

' Where have you been till now?'

' I'll not tell.'

' Had, you-'

I cut whatever Hunter was going to say, immediately and said,' Shut up now, Had. I will talk later. I have to be home by seven.

' Mom has strictly told me to be there at home or she'll kill me. I don't have to talk to you and waste my time.'

' Whatever you are upto, Had jus-'

I pulled the phone away from my ear and started to shout,' Sorry, Had. Had?  The network's not coming. I'll talk later,' and ended the call immediately.

That was a nice escape. Phew!!

Now it's time to go and apologise to a certain someone and get some of answers.

I knocked at the door with my knuckles, three times, instead of ringing the bell.

The door opened after two minutes and I found Lily standing in front of me.

She raised an eyebrow and said,' Hello, Hadrian. It's nice to meet you but as far as I know you never really came to my house alone. Is there any particular reason behind your visit?'

' Um, hello Lily. I just, um, wanted to talk to Faith about something.'

' Faith?,' she asked me again.

No, Joy! Does she have some hearing problem?

I smiled slightly and said,' Yes, Faith.'

' Okay, come inside. I'll call her.'

I went inside. Lily told me to sit and went upstairs to  call Faith after giving me water.

Why go upstairs to call? She could have just called her from downstairs also.

Lily came just a few minutes later and said,' She is coming. Wait here, Hadrian.'

After a few minutes, Faith came in while struggling to walk.

I got up immediately and looked at her.

She was the same as she had been. Big attractive eyes which made her look cute and beau-

Cut the crap, Hadrian Reed!! What are you th-

' Are you just going to stand there or say something?,' Faith asked getting impatient.

' Um, I wanted to talk to you about something Faith.'

She mumbled to herself,' Faith? Interesting..,' before saying out loud,' Yeah, okay. What is it?'

' Um, can we...,' I trailed off while hunting her to talk somewhere alone.

' What? Say it out loud,' she said to me in irritation.

Lily smacked Faith lightly and said,' Give the boy a little rest, will you? It's obvious that he wants to talk to you somewhere in private where I am not there. You both can go to the front garden and talk there.'

Oh my God!! Lily is such a wonderful person!!

Faith looked at me and I nodded my head lightly.

At last, after exact sixty seconds later she sighed and said,' Okay, come on.'

' Okay,' I said and followed Faith outside.

When we were outside I turned towards Faith and said,' Wait here. I'll be back in a second.'

I went towards my car immediately and went inside soon after taking out the two bags in my hand.

' What's this?,' Faith asked, the moment she saw the bags in my hand.

I looked at Faith and guilt and said sincerely,' I am sorry Faith that I acted like such an idiot with you earlier and played that awful prank on you. I am really very sorry.'

Faith continued to look at me for a moment and then started laughing.

I raised my eyebrow at her and said,' What is wrong? Why are you laughing?'

Faith's face got serious and she said to me,' Wait, you aren't joking?'

Joking?

I looked at her weirdly and said,' Joking? Why would I joke with you? I am really very sorry.'

Woah...she doesn't even trust me!

Faith looked at me and said while giving me a breathtaking and genuine smile which she gives to Logan,' It's alright. I am happy that you came and apologised to me.'

I smiled widely and said while handing her the two bags,' Thank you so much Faith. Thank you for forgiving me.'

She smile again and said,' It's alright but what's this?'

' Um..some gifts for you.'

' Oh, but it wasn't necessary to you to give an apology gift but I like gifts so I'll take them and especially this teddy is so cute. Thank you,' she said while grinning at me.

I grinned back and said,' You're welcome. I'll leave them.'

I turned around to move but Faith stopped me by holding my wrist,which I should tell you felt really very nice.

No, wait, it wasn't anything like that.

She passed me a quick grin before saying,' Stop. Where do you think you are going? Let's go inside and finish all these snacks you have brought for me?'

' But I-'

' Oh, just cut it. Let's go inside. I'll ask aunt to make us hot chocolate too,' she said while dragging me towards the door.
