I was sitting in my room and playing a game on my phone when my mother decided it was good to kick me out if the house.

She came inside my room without knocking and stood at the entrance while glaring towards me.

I looked at her and raised an eyebrow.

She said angrily,' Mr. Reed, don't you have any homework or studies to do that you are just passing your time around while playing like a five year old!'

' Mom!,' I said with irritation.

' What mom, huh? Had, you should start studying now.'

' I study, mom. I study.'

' When? I haven't seen you studying ever.'

' It isn't necessary for you to see me, mom. I study and that is the reason that I get good marks.'

' I always have a doubt in that. I think that you are just fooling me and cheating.'

' No, mom. It isn't like that. Don't you have trust on me?'

' I have, Had but sometimes it's the way that you live that makes me doubt.'

I rolled my eyes and said,' Whatever, now what's the reason that you came here?'

' Take this list and go buy some grocery,' my mother said while putting the list on the corner of my bed.

This is my mom, everyone! She comes to my room to give me some work to do but first scolds me for not studying.

' That's your work,' I said while putting the list back in my mother's hands.

My mother glared at me and said,' Who has divided the work in this house? And what do you, is this house a hotel for you that you don't want to do any household work?'

' Is this a household work also?,' I ask while hesitating.

My mother glared at me and gave me the list once again and said,' Yes, it is,' and left my room immediately.

I was walking in the mall, picking up whatever I saw was written on the list when suddenly I saw a new video game kept on the shelf.

And then immediately I started to to walk in the backward direction towards the video game section when suddenly I bumped into someone's trolley.

I turned around to say sorry but that sorry remained in my throat instead I said,' Oh, Faith! Nice to meet you here.'

Faith rolled her eyes and said,' You should have said sorry and you are saying this. Well for your kind information, it's not nice to meet you.'

' Ow, that's cruel! You are so cruel!'

' Oh my God, Adrian! Are you alright or shall I call the ambulance?' Faith said while acting as if she was tensed and then we both started laughing.

' And Adrian? That's a nice name. No one has ever called me that,' I said to Faith with a smirk.

Faith rolled her eyes and said,' Then I'll call you that duh.'

I grinned and asked her,' So what are you doing here?'

' The same thing that you are doing, idiot,' Faith said in a teasing voice.

' Yeah, okay. Whatever,' I said while rolling my eyes this time.

' So may I ask you, why were you walking in the backward direction?,' Faith said with a raised eyebrow.

' Um, I saw that video game and started to walk backwards so as to take a little bit of a close peek at it,' I said hesitantly while pointing towards the video game.

' That one's okay. Not so nice,' Faith said with a thinking expression on her face.

I grinned widely and said,' Do you also play video games?'

' Yups, is there a problem in that?'

' No, not at all. So, do you have this one at your place?'

' Um, I am sorry but my sister is a much bigger fan of video games than I am so the video game's at my house in Riverside.'

' Oh, that's alright, no problem, ' I said with a smile.

' Okay, I'll go and do the shopping now. It was nice meeting you,' Faith said while pushing her trolley.

I grinned widely and said,' At last! You accepted the truth. You said that it wasn't nice to meet me here but now you accepted it.'

Faith just laughed and went away while shaking her head but not before calling me an idiot.

She looked so beautiful while shaking her head and laughing that I just wanted to stand there and watch her forever but an irritating old man shouted from behind me,' Come on, move now. Don't block the way!'

I glared at him and went away in the direction from where I came while walking backward.
