At last the last day of the school had begun and I was walking towards my locker as usual when the three idiots whom I call my friends showed up.

Hunter looked irritated and said to me,' Had dude, do something please.'

' About what?,' I said with a smirk.

Hunter rolled his eyes and said,' You need not overthink. I just need your help to make Noah stop, now.'

Before I could have said anything Noah came towards me and hugged me tightly while saying,' Oh, I am gonna miss you guys so much during the holidays.'

I rolled my eyes and said while pulling myself away from the hug,' Shut up Noah. You are going to meet us each and everyday during the vacations and you are acting as if we are never going to meet again.'

Just as I finished the sentence, I saw the one person I didn't expect at all, coming towards me at full speed.

I smirked at her as she neared towards me.

I really don't know what I was expecting but I surely wasn't expecting what Faith did.

She came towards me and without any warning or anything, she slapped me.

She slapped me. Infront of everyone!!!

I looked at her while glaring and before I could say anything Noah being Noah, he laughed.

Faith glared at him and said,' Shut up, you idiot or you'll be the next.'

Noah stopped laughing immediately and said while raising his hands in surrender,'  I won't now.'

Faith gave another glare to Noah and said while looking towards me but now she did just not glare at me, tears flowed out from her eyes,' You. You think that you can do whatever you want? You think that was a good prank.

' Prank means prank, Hadrian Reed, it doesn't mean that you can go around including each other's family members in it with that too. And out of everyone over here, you don't have the right to do so!!!.'

By the time she finished, the corridor had gone silent and everyone was looking towards us.

I thought that she finished but then suddenly she laughed angrily and said,' You wanted for me to breakdown, right? Well, congratulations, Hadrian Reed, you have succeeded,' and with that she stormed out of the corridor. The school.

I felt like I should go after her but Kyler took hold of my hand and warned me not to follow her.

This time , it was going on slowly. Time was moving on slowly.

I felt sad and just sad. I thought of going and talking to Faith but changed the plans and also, I didn't see her in the school for the rest of the day.

Hunter, Kyler and Noah had also been silent after the incident and especially the ever talking Noah too.

I reached home and saw that Kev was sitting alone and talking to someone in the kitchen.

I went to him and he ended the call while saying,' Okay, no problem. I'll be at your place by six and we can hang out after that.'

He hung up the phone and said while looking up at me,' So, how was your day, small brother?'

I glared at him and said,' Don't call me that.'

' As you say,' Kev said while laughing and getting up.

I raised my eyebrows and said,' Where to? It's just four, right now. And where's mum?'

' Mum has gone for some shopping, as she said and well I need time to get ready, dude.'

I looked at him seriously this time and said,' You really like her, don't you?'

' Who?'

' Faith.'

' Faith? Nope dude, never. I just like her as my friend.'

' Oh, okay,' I said while getting up to leave too.

' No wait. You are jealous of me, right?,' Kev said while teasing me.

' Why would I be?,' I said while frowning.

' Because I get to spend time with the wonderful  Faith and you always have to fight with her.'

' I am not,' I said to him through gritted teeth.

' Then why would you follow me to the cafe that day? Or text Faith as being me? You think I wouldn't know about it?,' he said with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes and said,' That was just time pass. I can get whichever girl I want and whenever.'

' But not her,' he said in a challenging voice.

' Her too.'

' Okay then let's bet...'
