' Hey ugly! What are doing here in the corridor alone?,' I said to Faith, who was leaning by the lockers and it looked like she was thinking about something, eyes closed and a frown on her face.
' Who the hell do you think that you are calling me ugly?,' she opened her eyes immediately and said while glaring you.
' Hadrian Reed?,' I said with a shrug.
Faith groaned and said,' Shut up!'
The small smile from my face immediately disappeared and a frown took it's place as I said,' What happened, Faith? Is something wrong?'
She sighed and shook her head,' Nah, nothing. Everything's alright. Woah, wait, you just called me Faith?'
' Isn't that you name?,' I said with a raised eyebrow.
She rolled her eyes before saying,' Have you ever, just even once listened to your lame jokes, Mr. Hadrian Reed?'
' I don't need to hear them even for once, Ms. Faith Hall, to know as to how amazing they are,' I said with a smirk.
' Babes, don't be so egoistic or when you'll see the size of my ego, you won't be able to take the impact from it's hit,' Faith said with a smirk on her face.
My eyes widened in amusement as I said,' That's a weird but unique reply, 1 Hall. '
Faith flipped back her hair dramatically and said,' I know that, Mr. Reed. It's unique just like me,' while giggling at the end.
I chuckled at her. I have to accept this, it was really nice to see her all happy and smiling.
' So, what happened? Why were you here all alone?,' I asked with a serious tone.
Faith seemed to not expect seriousness from me as she looked at with a shocked expression for a few minutes and then said with a sigh while regaining herself,' Nothing. Just a bit tired,' while looking anywhere but me.
I rolled my eyes and said,' Seriously? You think that I would believe that excuse of yours. It's just a lame excuse that I can't even try and pretend like I believe it.'
Faith glared at me while saying,' You seem to be quite straight forward, Mr. Straightface.'
' Shut up! You are so annoying!,' I said with a frown.
She rolled her eyes and didn't say anything else like she usually does, so I took it on me to talk today and said,' Come on, let's get you out of this horrid place. You look like such a monstrous zombie.'
' Why the hell do you talk so much?,' Faith said with a frown,' And also, we skipped yesterday too, mister.'
I raised my eyebrow at her and said,' Are you on drugs? The school is over now. Why the hell do you think that we'll be skipping today?'
' Oh, school's over? Oh, yeah, yes, your right. So where are you taking me?,' Faith said with a confused expression on her face.
Initially I wasn't that much of serious about Faith looking so tired and worn out but now suddenly, I felt myself getting more serious about her.
' Come on, let's go. I'll be taking you somewhere to distract your mind,' I said with a wink.
She smirked and said,' A surprise, just like how it is always in books?'
I rolled my eyes and said,' Yeah, you can say so but the thing is that I don't even know as to where I am taking you, I'll select it on our way.'
' What?! Woah dude, your really some crack-head,' Faith said with widened eyes.
I winked at her and said,' Yeah, just like you,' and then said with a frown,' Hey! I am not your dude!,' while she laughed at me and my cracked-head.
