"I just wanna say, you're mine, you're mine
Fuck what you heard, you're mine, you're mine
As long as you know who you belong to..."

I sat a bag of groceries down on the island in the kitchen. Sincere and I had just moved into a new home in New Jersey. I loved the house. It was absolutely beautiful and we got it for a good price too. I wasn't looking for a house at first but after the engagement, Sin thought it would be a good idea for us to just get a home now. It was a bit confusing being that he still had a life in Florida but for now he would just have to travel back and forth. When he wasn't in Miami, Wise was down there taking care of everything.
Now that I was a fiancé I wanted to perfect my cooking. Even though I knew how to make a few things here and there I wouldn't call myself a chef or anything. Sincere had me beat when it came to certain meals and I didn't like it one bit. So I had been practicing making different meals for the past week.
"Hello?" I said answering my phone. It was Jordan calling me.
"Hey sis, what you doing?"
"Nothing, I just got in the house. I'm putting up some groceries."
"Aww, check you out tryna be a lil' housewife or whatever." Jordan chuckled.
"Girl bye." I laughed at her. She was right though. Ever since the engagement I changed. I wanted to be a better woman to my man. I wanted to please him.. in every aspect.
"Anyways, I called you because I need help girl." She sighed.
"Help with what?" I asked as I put a pack of ground turkey into the fridge.
"Well you already know Marcus birthday is coming up and I wanted to get him a good gift but I don't know what the hell to get him. What do you get a man that has everything?"
"Damn, yeah sis that's hard. Marcus can literally buy anything he wants."
"Right... I was thinking about buying him a watch?" Jordan said unsure.
"Hmm.. I dunno, what do they say about buying niggas watches..? Never buy a man a watch because you'll run out of time with him? Some shit like that."
"Oh word? I never heard that. My moms always said, Never buy a man shoes cause he'll walk right out of your life."
"Yeah I heard that one too. How about this, we can go shopping together. I'll even ask Sin for advice on what you should get. They kinda have the same taste."
"Alright I'll probably come by before the end of the week."
"Alright sis later, love ya."
"Love you too bish!" I laughed before hanging up.
I hadn't seen the girls since Sin and I moved. Things seemed to be moving a bit fast and it was kind of scary but exciting at the same time. I hadn't started planning the wedding just yet only because we were still looking for a place to lay our heads. Now that we found our home, the wedding was next on the list. Next month, I would start interviewing a few wedding planners.
"Yo Syn!" Sincere's loud voice called out throughout the house. We didn't have much furniture so there was an echo.
"Yea? I'm in the kitchen." I called out.
"Why you ain't tell me you was going out? Just left a nigga sleeping and shit." Sincere wrapped his arms around me.
"We didn't have any food here." I rolled my eyes at him. We had just went food shopping last week. "Someone ate up all of the food so I had to go get a few things."
