Sophie Elizabeth Minter. The missing six year old from the 1998 Golden Gate Bridge car crash.

It was my fault. So I kissed everyone's forehead and ran. I ran as far as my little legs would take me.

For a six year old, I was quite clever. I'd watched my mom work at her hair salon most of my life so I knew exactly where to find everything and what to do with it.

I cut my hair. It wasn't even. No where near, but it was better than before. I did the patchiest job at dyeing it. It looked a lot easier when mom did it but mom couldn't do it now.

Because she's dead.

And it's my fault.
