I'm walking to the cafeteria when I'm pushed against some lockers. This happened quite regularly, there was a group of six boys who bullied me whenever I was alone. That's why I waste some of lunch walking with Amelia.

"Where have you been? You're later than usual."

"She was talking to the English teacher." Oh no. Simon has became friends with my bullies.

"Oh, typical teachers pet." I was punched in the stomach by JJ, the main bully. "What for this time? Asking for more homework?"

Don't reply. Don't react. If you show that you're weak they win.

The sound of footsteps made the seven boys disappear down the hallway and into an empty classroom. I slid down the lockers and hit the floor. My hand sat firmly on my stomach as tears rolled down my cheeks, as a teacher walked around the corner he saw me immediately and rushed over.

"Are you alright? What's happened?" I look up and see Simon leaning against the doorframe of the classroom they hid in.

"I was walking to the cafeteria when there was a really bad pain in my stomach, it was hurting to move so I sat down, the pain is fading now though." He helped me up before asking one last time if I was alright. I wasn't but I didn't want Emma, David or Amelia to find out.

As I make my way to the cafeteria, I slow down slightly so I'd be behind the teacher. I turn around and when I see Simon still leaning against the doorframe I stick my middle fingers up at him.

Just wait Simon Minter, Wednesday morning is going to be the best and worst day of your life.
