"For the last ten years I made up stories when asked about my childhood. Today, I've decided to finally get my story out there and let people know who I really am." The time is finally here.

"I'm going to make this short. I admitted myself into an adoption centre at the age of six under the fake name Samantha Murphy. I had cut my hair and dyed it purple just before going there. For a six year old it was quite good. At seven I was adopted by a young couple called Emma and David. Just before adopting me, they gave birth to their daughter, Amelia. The one in this year. At the age of 16, I volunteer at the adoption centre I called home for a year, work at a restaurant and a cafe over the weekends so I can repay Emma and David for welcoming me into their family ten years ago and so I could find my family. But that seems to be a lot easier than I thought it ever would be."

"So, my name, my real name is Sophie Elizabeth Minter. I am the missing 6 year old from the Golden Gate Bridge Crash of 1998, the girl who forgotten by whoever remained in her broken family, and the girl who wanted nothing but happiness for her twin brother. Simon Edward Minter."

"After the crash happened, I looked at the damage I had caused. It was my fault, no matter what anybody says. Whilst we were on the bridge, I was looking through my party bag, there was a bouncy ball in there. I took it out but dropped it and when I reached for it, it rolled under the chair in front and landed under the brake pedal. I tried to tell dad but by the time I started speaking we were upside down, glass was everywhere and crowds were forming around the car." Tears we're streaming down my face as I headed for the classroom door. Everything was spinning and I felt like I could pass out at any minute. I quickly made my way towards the bathrooms before anyone could stop me.

But it was too late, Simon was right behind me when I fell to the ground unconscious.
