"Good morning everyone, as you all know, today is the day where you will be presenting your speeches to the rest of the class." Mrs. Walsh stood at the front of the class, she had already explained how we were going to present the speeches and what the purpose of us doing them was.

Every speech was unique, some funny, some sad. All that was left was me and Simon. The time was almost here.

"Simon, you're up next." Simon stood up from his chair and walked over to the front of the room before beginning his speech.

"The Golden Gate Car Crash of 1998. The crash that killed my family. The crash that made my twin sister run away. I was eight at the time. Me and Sophie, my twin, had been at a friends birthday party earlier in the day. We were on our way back home when a drunk driver span towards our car. If my dad had used the brake we'd all still be alive, well, maybe not the drunk driver who would've span off the bridge." Tears appeared in the corner of everyone's eyes. Even the quiet girl who sits in the corner of the room drawing pentagrams all lesson was tearful.

"Our car was hit in a way that after collision we were flipped multiple times. When I started to regain consciousness, I saw Sophie climbing out of the car and somehow getting past the growing crowd. I tried to get out and follow Sophie but I was stuck and couldn't get out until the fire department arrived 20 minutes later. By that time Sophie was long gone."

"After the crash, I lived with my grandmother for two years but once her memory started to deteriorate she started to blame me for the death of my parents and the disappearance of Sophie. When teachers found out they got social services involved and I then moved into my aunts house. And that's my life so far. My parents are dead, twin sister is nowhere to be seen and I live with my aunt who only took me in because of pity after her mother abused me." He took a seat back in his chair, acting like he didn't care about what has happened.

"I'm sorry about that Simon, it must have been tough growing up."

"You have no idea."

"Last but not least, Samantha." I nod my head and make my way to the front, avoiding Simons leg that he stuck out last minute trying to trip me up. Just wait Simon, just wait.
