Aaron never pushed for my story, he'd ask but when he saw that I got upset he apologised and brought me ice cream.

But that only lasted for a year, a week after mine and Simon's birthday I was adopted. I bonded with the people almost immediately. I still live with them, Emma and David. A few years after adopting me, they adopted another girl who was the same age as me, her name's Amelia and we became best friends within hours of her being adopted. We recently moved into a new 3-bedroom apartment closer which is closer to the high school Amelia and I started last year.

Only four people know the real me so I could make up as many stories as I wanted. I told Emma and David about me being the 'missing girl' that everyone seemed to have forgotten after 2 years.

My best friend, and sister, Amelia, I told her not too long ago, I knew I could trust her with anything because of how close we are so I told her and she has been really supportive even though I lied straight to her face for almost ten years.

The only other person who knows is Aaron, last year I decided I owed him an explanation as to where I came from. I volunteer at the adoption centre after school every day, I want the kids to be happy whilst they are there. Just like I was.
