You're Still Number One

   Y/N'S POV

  As I tried to pick out an outfit for my baby girl, Avalanna, I heard my ringtone for Justin going off in the bathroom. Yes, Justin and I named our baby girl after Avalanna Routh, who was very special to Justin.
  She, unfortunately, died a couple of years ago, but I had no problem paying tribute to her by naming my child after her.

  Immediately, I jogged into the bathroom before I answered Justin's call,"Yes, JB, go ahead."

  Justin said,"Where's my girl?"

  I laughed before I said,"Really, Justin? I don't even get a "hello?" She's sleeping right now. You still coming to get her tonight?"

  "Hello, Y/N. And yes, I'm still coming to get her tonight. What are you doing tonight again?"

  Should I tell him? I might as well.

  I admitted to Justin,"I'm going on a date."

  Justin asked me,"Why?"

  I walked over to Avalanna's crib as I said to Justin,"Because we aren't married anymore, remember? This isn't my first date."

  Justin said,"I know that, Y/N. So bossy."

  I giggled before Justin spoke again,"I mean, what happened with the other guy you went on a date with? Was he a hater of me?"

  I couldn't help but smile, yet I answered,"Justin, you're amazing at what you do. And maybe that had something to do with it, but it was really the fact that he was in a relationship. I only found out because his girlfriend and I just happened to know each other."

  Justin became quiet, and I said,"Bieber, you still there?"

  He said,"Yeah. Sorry. I'm going to the gym. I'll see you tonight."

  "Okay. Bye."

  I hung up the phone before I let out a sigh. Then, I noticed that Avalanna was up. When did she get up?

  She began to make noises, and I rested my hand on her stomach as I said to her,"It looks like it's just me and you until your father gets here. It's always just me and you, huh? Maybe that'll change one day."

  I picked up Avalanna before I sat her in my lap. Of course, I watched t.v. with her. Before I knew it, it was time for me to get ready for my date. John would be here in 30 minutes, and that was more than enough time for me to ger ready.
  I put Avalanna down, and then I quickly got ready. Once I took a deep breath, I looked down at my wedding ring that was sitting on the counter before I picked it up.

  "N/N??"

  I put down my wedding ring before I walked out to meet Justin. Justin kissed my forehead before he picked up Avalanna. I smiled, seeing how happy Justin was to see his baby girl.
  Justin sat down on my bed, and then he dressed Avalanna into the outfit that I had picked out for her.

  Justin looked at me as he asked me,"When is he supposed to get here?"

  I answered,"Oh, it looks like he's here now. See you, Avalanna and Jay."

  I grabbed my purse then quickly put on my heels before I made my way down the steps.

  I opened the door for John, and John said,"Hi. You look great. You ready?"

  I nodded and took his hand before someone cleared their throat.

  Justin said,"Y/N, call me when you make it back home, okay?"

  I gave Justin a hug and Avalanna a kiss before I let John lead me to our date.

  The date seemed like it was going perfectly, but I was aware of the fact that I felt bad about even being on this date.
  Justin was the one who was really on my mind, and John did seem like an amazing man. John just wasn't the man that I truly wanted, though.

  When John led me to my front door, he went for a kiss, but I stopped him before I admitted to him,"John, this date was amazing, but my mind is somewhere else. I feel guilty about even going on this date because I still love someone else, even though I've tried to convince myself that I don't anymore. I would hate to hurt you."

  John smiled at me, then he kissed my knuckles before he said,"I understand, Y/N. I enjoyed our date, too, but I hope that things work out with you and Justin. You were talking about Justin, weren't you?"

  I nodded. However, I talked to John a little longer before he left. Afterwards, I let Justin know that I had made it home, then I walked inside, crashing on the couch.

  When I woke up, Avalanna was leaning on me. I looked up, and Justin was dancing in the kitchen.

  He noticed I was awake before he said,"Hey. I miss hearing you snore."

  Justin sat down on the couch, and then he laid down on top of me. Avalanna was still leaning on me, yet she just looked at Justin.

  I said,"I miss seeing you dancing and having a good time. I miss hearing your voice at 3 o'clock in the morning."

  "Luckily for you, I'm available. What about John?"

  "John and I are okay. I let him know that I really wanted you, and he took it really well."

  "Hopefully, you don't get tired of me this time."

  "I never got tired of you, Bieber. I was just in a tough spot, and I made a mistake ending our marriage. I won't make that mistake again. I want Avalanna to have both of us."
