   Y/N'S POV

Justin and I had hit a hard spot in our relationship. Honestly, I think it was because we had so much pressure on us as individuals. I was also a singer, not nearly as famous as Justin, but my latest album was receiving so much hate. I thought that it was my best album yet, but no one else thought so.
Justin and I's schedules often conflicted with each other's, but we made it work. However, by the time we finally saw each other, there was stuff that we had been holding in all day from our separate experiences that day, that week, or sometimes even a couple of months.

Right now, Justin sounded terrible, and he never sounded terrible to me. I was biased when it came to Justin, and I would admit that. Clearly, Justin had an amazing voice, and he was extremely talented, but he was messing up everything today. And I knew why.
Justin was starting to feel the weight of everything that had been going on between us, and I felt it, too. I wanted us to go back to how we were before, but I couldn't keep ignoring the fact that we had to talk about it before it could get even worse. Not only was I endangering my career at this point, but Justin's too. Justin, if he wanted to, he had the opportunity to just move on from me and continue with his life. But he hadn't done that.

As Justin struggled to get the chorus right, which he had gotten right every single time before, Josh, Scooter, and Ryan immediately looked over at me.

  I said,"What?"

Ryan motioned over to Justin, who was running his hand over his face, before he said,"Go talk to him. Fix this right now. You two can't keep doing this. You love him, don't you?"

  "Of course, I do, Ryan."

Scooter put his hand on my shoulder as he said,"It's gonna be okay. Ryan's right. Go talk to him."

Josh nodded to me, and I walked into the small room where Justin was.

He looked up and then over at me before he said,"Princess, I'm tired."

I held out my hand as I said,"I know. I'm tired, too. Let's talk."

Justin put his hand in my own, and I led him outside. I sat down on the curb, yet Justin distanced himself from me.

I reached over and yanked him close by his arm before I told him,"Justin, don't do that. Please don't do that. I need you."

I leaned on his arm, then I let out a sigh before I said,"Look, we've both had our fair share of bad timing and things going on, but it's no excuse for how we've been treating each other. I want to say that I'm sorry for yelling at you almost all the time and for trying to spend so little time with you. It's not because I don't love you, Justin, but because I just really thought that this was going to be my year. No one likes my album, and I was so sure that this was going to turn things around for me. I always seem to let out my anger and frustration on you, and I shouldn't. I'm really sorry, Justin."

Justin closed his eyes as he said,"It's okay, Y/N. I'm sorry, too, for pushing you so hard all the time. Your album was amazing, and sometimes people just don't always understand what certain songs really mean. People do love your album, Y/N. Don't focus on the people who don't. I'm also sorry for saying rude things to you when we argue or when I'm upset. I'm really tired of not getting along."

I rested my hand on his cheek, then I said,"I forgive you, handsome. I appreciate you for pushing me because you know what you're talking about. I will try not to think about all the people who don't like my craft from now on. I'm also tired of not getting along."

Justin placed a kiss on my hand then pulled me up as he said,"Let's do our best from now on to treat each other the right way. We may fail, but let's try not to. Can you start by supporting me in the studio and giving me your input?"

  I smiled before I answered,"That I can do."

Justin gave me a long kiss, and it was actually the first kiss that we had shared in about two months. I covered my face at the result it had on me, but Justin moved my hands to give me another kiss before he led me inside the studio.
Scooter looked at me, and I gave him a thumbs up. Justin couldn't help himself and gave me one more kiss, then he got back to work.

I stood right beside Josh as I listened to Justin's voice.

Justin asked me,"How was it, baby?"

I answered,"I liked it, but try holding out the last note a little longer and releasing the one before it a little quicker."

Justin nodded before he sang it again. Let me tell you: it sounded much better with the little advice that I had given Justin.

Justin sent me a wink, and Scooter said,"Don't go anywhere, Y/N."

  "I won't."
