   Y/N'S POV

The second I woke up in a hospital bed, I immediately yelled,"ELLA?? ELLA??"

I put my face in my hands before I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was my father. I only knew how this looked right now. No one ever knew about Michael being abusive because I never told them.
How was I going to tell them? What would he have done to them if they tried to intervene? I couldn't risk anyone else feeling what I felt every day.

My father brushed my hair out of my face as he said,"I want to be so mad at you, Y/N, for keeping this from your old man, but I'm just so happy he didn't take you away from me. Come here."

Dad hugged me and held me for a long time before he sat down on the edge of my bed. Then, Ella ran into the room, followed by my best friend, Zora.

Zora said,"You don't know how much I love you."

I smiled weakly at her and gave her a hug, yet I noticed Ella hiding behind Zora's leg. Zora kept trying to get Ella to come to me, but Ella wasn't moving. I felt like a horrible mother for what she had probably seen Michael doing to me.

I said,"Princess, it's okay. Come here. You can hug me. Ella..."

She ran over to my bed and climbed up on it before she hugged me.

She cried as she said,"Mommy...you kept crying, and...and daddy was hurting you."

I shushed her as I said,"I know, Ella. I know. But those nice people took care of mommy, and now, she feels a lot better."

Ella then noticed all my bruises, and she frowned.

I then asked Zora,"How did the cops know to come to the house? I didn't call anyone, and no one else knew about what he was doing to me."

Zora looked down at Ella, who was holding my hand tightly, as she answered,"Your daughter knew. She told me that she called a man, but she didn't know his name. He was the one who talked to her and got the help that saved you, Y/N. Whoever that man is, you owe him everything. You also owe your daughter a thank you for being so smart."

I gave Ella a kiss before I said,"Thanks, Ella. You always have my back, and I will always have yours."

Ella smiled at me before I thought about who Ella could have called. Shortly after Dad left and Mom stopped by, Zora and Ella were the only two people who were left here to keep me company.

Ella was watching something on Zora's phone before Zora said,"I have to go to the bathroom. I'll be back."

I nodded before I looked down at Ella.

I lifted Ella's chin as I said,"Mommy's proud of you for what you did. You're so brave. You are your father's child."

Ella immediately said,"No. Daddy hurt you."

I didn't even know what to say to that, but I was proud that she knew that hurting people wasn't okay. Turns out that she did listen to me, even when she caught attitudes with me.

When Zora made it back, she was out of breath as she said,"Girl, do you know who's coming down this hall?"

I joked with her by saying,"My husband."

Zora said,"Maybe! I don't know, but you better put on your best smile. It's Justin Bieber."

When Justin stopped in front of the room window, I said,"Oh no..."

Zora smirked before she said,"I told you to put on your best smile. If you do right this time, he may actually become your husband."

Ella had on headphones, so she was hearing none of this right now.

I replied,"Zora, now's not the best time for jokes. What is he doing here?"

When the doctor let Justin in, Justin said,"Hi. Are you Y/N?"

He didn't remember me? That's cool. It's not like Ella knew him, right? I could exchange some small talk with Justin, and then that would be it.

Zora lost the smirk that was on her face before she said,"Yes, she is Y/N. Why are you acting clueless, Justin? She's a fan of yours. If we want to be specific, she's more than that. She's your baby m-"

  I yelled,"SHUT UP, ZORA!"

Zora laughed because she thought this was funny.

Justin flinched, and I said,"I'm so sorry. My best friend, Zora, here has a big mouth. I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you, Justin."

Justin smiled at me, and I was trying not to get caught up in that smile. That smile never changed. It still hadn't changed.

Ella took off her headphones as she said,"Mommy, I'm hungry."

I sent Justin an apologetic smile before I said to Ella,"Zora will take you to get something."

Ella shook her head before she said to me,"But I want you to take me."

Justin was just looking at Ella until he snapped out of it before saying,"I actually need to talk to your mother alone, sweetheart."

Ella climbed off the bed before she ran to Justin. She hugged his leg, and he crouched down to her level to hug her the right way.

Justin smiled at her before he said,"I'm glad that you and your mother are okay. You're a smart girl."

I asked Justin,"Why is she smart?"

Justin answered as he looked me in the eyes,"Your daughter called me. I was the one who called for help for you, but it was your daughter who reached out to me."

My eyes widened, and Zora said,"Aww, that's so romantic."

I wanted to throw something at Zora, but there wasn't anything around me.

As Ella still held onto Justin, Justin said,"It's time that we talked, Y/N. It's time that we talked."

By the way Justin was looking at me, he remembered me, and he may have even known that Ella was his. Justin was smart. Ella looked just like him as I sat on the bed just now figuring out how similar the two of them looked to one another. Zora, Zora still found this amusing.
