Eventually the pull of sleep tugged our eyelids closed and we drifted into the world of sleeps. No Regoria visits tonight, but I had no doubt that Jay would visit soon.

I was awoken by Rivera and Keaton running into our room crying, “The market is today! Its market day, wake up its market day!” a few seconds later Fira pulled the two of them out scolding them.

It was too late though. The damage had already been done. I was awake and Ace and Robin were to. I could tell by their groaning.

“I take it if we go back to sleep Rivera and Keaton will just come back in and wake us up again,” Robin groaned.

“Not that I would be able to go back to sleep, even if they did not come in,” Ace complained.

“Ace you are normally the one up at the crack of dawn running around screaming, so you cannot complain,” I said rolling out of my bed.

Robin laughed and Ace threw her pillow at him, hitting him in the face. He growled at her and threw his pillow. He missed. Ace fell off her bed because she was laughing so hard. I just groaned, like always.

“While you two mess around like children I am going to go and help our host with the morning meal. The market day is very important to some people,” I said leaving those two to their games.

I washed up and got ready for the day. Isabel had gotten four fresh dresses for Ace and I. I hoped to find a stream or something to wash them in. this particular one was a light blue that according to Isabel, reflected the color of my eyes. I was not sure what she meant by that.

When I was ready for my day I went to help Fira, and Rivera make the bread for breakfast. Ace and Robin could not be found. I slipped Keaton a small coin to go wake them up for me. He gladly agreed, not to my surprise.

A few minutes later Keaton came back with a smug smile on his face. “They are awake, but they are not pleased,” he told me. I ruffled his hair like I used to do with Caspian, though he tried to avoid it.

“Thank you Keaton. Now remember, do not tell anyone where you got that coin and please do not tell Ace and Robin why you woke them up,” I begged. Keaton nodded with an element of sadness.

“Keaton, father needs you!” Rivera called, forcing Keaton to run away. As soon as he had disappeared guess who appeared? If you guessed Ace and Robin you were wrong. But now if you guessed an angry Ace and Robin you would be right!

The two of them came in grumbling. “Wait let me guess… Keaton?” I asked them.

“Yea,” Ace growled. “He came into our room screaming and crying for us to get up. When we did not reply he jumped on your bed screaming and throwing pillows at us.”

“That is eleven year old boys for you Ace,” I said shrugging. “You should have gotten up the first time he came in.”

“Well you were not there when Keaton came and woke us up Meia,” Robin insisted.

“I wonder why he came in and woke us up in the first place?” Ace asked.

“That is true. Especially since Fira was scolding him.”

“True, I wonder why?” I said maybe a bit too questionably. Luckily for me, Rivera came in, so Ace and Robin could not question me.

“It is time for breakfast. I helped my mother make it,” she said her smile covering her entire face.

“Splendid Rivera,” I said quickly. Ace, Robin and I headed into the kitchen.

We gathered at the table with Rivera, Keaton, Fira, and their mother. Their father had already left for the market place.
