A/N: Starting this out with my obligatory apology. Yeah, I have sucked at updated lately, and I am extremely sorry. I'm a terrible person. I have had so much going on, and then the few days I have actually had time to write I just haven't been inspired to write anything decent. So, please forgive me. I'm going to try and do better, but my schedule is so packed so I don't want to lie to y'all and day 'I'm going to update every day to make-up for how bad I've been." but I promise that I am going to do my best to actually update.
Thanks Y'all.
xoxo Holly.

Daniel carried my overnight bag up into my bedroom as I followed slowly behind. He set the bag down and I took a seat on through edge of my bed. He stood there awkwardly.
"Thanks. " I finally mustered.
"No problem." He muttered. It was so uncomfortable between us. He was so distant. I mean I don't blame him not wanting to get attached, but I thought we could at least be friends.
"I guess you need to get your stuff from your old house?" He avoided mentioning Steele.
"None of that stuff is mine." I shook my head. Maybe some clothes, but nothing important. I can get that later." I said quietly. Ashamed. I wasnt wealthy. Everything I had of value was because of Steele.
Now we were sitting in my childhood bedroom in my families house. It was literally all I had. My family had never been rich, and what we did have we poured into racing. So our house end most possessions were modest at best.
Daniel glanced around the room. I nervously shifted back and forth. His eyes finally landed on a jacket that weather thrown over my wooden desk chair. A deep indigo jacket, the colors of the infinti red bull race team gear. It was his jacket. He ran his fingers over the familiar jacket.
"I couldn't bring it with me. I don't think Steele would have taken too kindly to me wearing your jacket around"
"Probably not." Daniel said calmly.
"I'll be right back." He disappeared.
Daniel was gone for a long time and I was beginning to think he had left the country. Until my bedroom door was slowly pushed open and Daniel cautiously peeked his head inside.
“You're free to come in whenever you like." I said as calmly as I have been in a while.
He took the initiative and stepped in, closing the spot behind him. He had two ice creams with him. My eyes lit up at the sight of a cone with double scoops of mint chocolate chip.
"I just wasn't sure if anyone else had gotten home." Daniel explained why he had been so stealthy.
"Oh" I shrugged "they won't be home till Sunday"
"Well, I didn't know that." He handed me my ice cream, which I gratefully took and then he sat down beside me on the bed.
"Well, you do now." I smiled.
“Have you talked to your family?”
“Not yet.” I shook med head. Then returning my focus to the ice cream. I really didn’t want to think about that at the moment. I mean, my dad and brothers are extremely supportive and I know they are going to be there for me. I still didn’ want to break this news to them.
“You’re the only person I’ve told.” I finally said.
“But why?” he asked. He had completely ignored his ice cream. Which was not beginning to drip down the cone and onto his hand.
