Note that in this imagine you are married to Daniel and have a son named
Dexter. Corbyn and Christina are also married and have a daughter named Chelsea. Both of them are like 12 years old.
Not much of a why don't we imagine, but I still love it 💖

You were having dinner with your lovely family. Daniel just got back from tour a couple weeks ago and he wanted to spend as much as time as he could with his wonderful wife and son.
You guys just finished dinner. Daniel went upstairs to make some work emails and calls, and you were doing the dishes.
"Hey mom? I need your help with something" your son asked you.
"Sure sweetie what is it?" You asked him and smiled.
"Sooooooooo I like this girl. She's beautiful and funny and I love her to the moon and back. I've liked her for a while now and I wanna tell her but I don't know how, so help me please?" He asked and smiled slightly, revealing his adorable tooth gap, just like his father.
"Oooooh my little baby's in love!!!" You exclaimed.
"Mom! Not so loud!" He said and blushed in embarrassment.
"So you want to tell her how you feel, but you don't know how to?" You asked him.
"Yeah that's pretty much it" he told you.
"Well sweetheart I'll be happy to help, but you need to tell me who the lucky girl is" you said and smiled widely.
"Promise you won't tell anyone?" He asked nervously.
"I promise. Now tell me" you answered him.
"Ok it's Chelsea" he said and blushed at her name.
"Eeeeeeeeeeeeep this is so adorable I can't wait to tell Christina this is —"
"Woah woah woah mom you promised you won't tell anyone" he interrupted and looked at you.
"Alright sweetie I'll keep it a secret, but how are you gonna tell her?" You asked, trying to hold your laughter.
"Well, Chelsea loves looking at the stars, so I was thinking if we could go stargazing tomorrow night, cause apparently 'the sky is gonna be lit up with stars' and I could confess my feelings then" he said.
"You want me to pack some snacks for the two of you?" You asked, genuinely happy for your son.
"Yeah I Guess Chelsea loves food" he smiled and blushed.
"Can I ask you something? What do you love about her? I mean she is a wonderful girl but I wanna know more about your opinion" you asked, and waited to hear the most adorable answer ever.
"Well I love her personality. The way she laughs at my jokes, the way her smile can light up this entire town, the way her eyes sparkle when she sees something she loves, the way she fan girls about space like uncle Corbyn, the way she dances to her favourite song, everything about her is perfect. She's an angel from above and I love her with all my heart" he sighed, finishing his speech which made your heart melt.
"Awwwww this is too adorable! Anyways your idea is perfect, I'll make you guys some snacks tomorrow, and you guys should walk to the top of Marshall's Peak (again, a reference from one of my favourite books) that place has the best view for stargazing" you said, almost re-enacting one of your dates with Daniel when you were younger.
"Great! Thanks so much mom!" Dexter said as he hugged you and kissed your cheek. You smiled and hugged him back.
"Oh and Dexter? One thing" you said.
"Yeah?" He turned around and asked you.
"Make sure you ask her out first" you smiled.
"Yeah Sure. Night mom" he said as he ran up the stairs and to his room, thinking about the girl of his dreams.
"Goodnight honey"

*switch to dexters POV*

Welp. I Guess this is happening. I talked to mom for help to finally tell Chelsea how I feel about her.
It is currently 6:30pm. Uncle Corbyn and aunt Christina are coming over for dinner, and Chelsea and I are gonna go stargazing at Marshall's peak. About an hour ago, I went there to tie a hammock (I hope I didn't confuse the words 😬) between two trees (picture above). I also got her some flowers, pink roses to be more specific, cause I know Chelsea loves roses. That's why it's her middle name. Chelsea Rose Besson. The love of my life.
About half an hour later, I heard the doorbell ring. I ran down the flight of stairs, fixed my hair for the 500th time this day, and opened the door.
"Hey uncle Corbyn! Hey aunt Christina! Hi Chelsea!"
"Hello dexter" the couple said together.
"Hey dexter" Chelsea replied. Was I hallucinating, or did I see her cheeks get pink? Jesus. This girl has some sort of spell over me.
I opened the door to let them in, and Mom and Dad came downstairs to greet their friends.
"Are you guys gonna leave now?" Aunt Christina asked Chelsea and I.
"Yeah I Guess, wouldn't wanna miss that view" Chelsea said.
"Dexter don't forget to pick the snack basket from the kitchen counter" mom told and discreetly winked at me. I simply nodded, got the basket, said my byes and went outside, Chelsea coming right behind me.
She was wearing a simple flower print dress and a denim jacket, but she was still the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.
"You excited?" I asked her.
"Yeah it's supposed to be beautiful tonight" she said and smiled. Dang, that smile.
"Oh I almost forgot" I said and gave her the flowers I got her. She got so red I thought she was gonna pass out.
Soon, we reached the spot I had selected. The moonlight shone on the hammock I had kept, lighting the scenery. It was silence - minus the crickets chirping in the background, and my heavy, nervous breathing.
Chelsea sat down on the hammock, and I joined her.
We ate the snacks mom packed for us.
"No way! Peanut butter and jelly is my favourite!!" She squealed.
"I remembered" I said and blushed.
Both of us looked at the gorgeous night sky, it's stars sprinkled everywhere. The colour changed from blue, to purple, and then blue again. It was absolutely amazing.
"It's so beautiful" she said and sighed, her eyes sparkling from her love of the view.
"Not as beautiful as you" I said. It took me a moment to realise I said that out loud, and a pink shade rose on her cheeks. What is this girl doing to me?
This is it. The perfect moment. Ok Dexter. Tell her now.
"Hey Chelsea?" I asked and looked at her.
"Yes Dexter?" She reverted her eyes to me.
"I need to tell you something" I said seriously and looked in her eyes.
"Go on" she said, encouraging me to confess whatever was on my mind.
"I like you. No. I love you Chelsea. I've loved you since we were kids, since that time I was getting bullied in pre school and you stood up for me. I love you. And not just cause your pretty. I mean Don't get me wrong, you're drop dead gorgeous. Every time I talk to you, I get butterflies. Your voice is like music to my ears. I love your laugh, your eyes, your smile, and most importantly, your personality. You're the girl of my dreams Chelsea. The girl I wanna marry someday. The girl I wanna have kids with. The girl I wanna grow old with. I. Love. You" I finished. She just looked at me and didn't say anything. I looked down in embarrassment. Great, she doesn't like me.
All of a sudden, I feel her holding my hands. I looked up to see her looking right back at me, with tears in her sparkling eyes.
"I love you too Dexter" she said. I slowly leaned in, and she did too.
I can't believe I'm actually about to say this. As cliche as it sounds, sparks flew. My whole body was tingling by her touch. It was amazing.
We pulled apart.
"Would you mind if I asked you to be my girlfriend?" I asked her hopefully.
"Would you mind if I say yes?" She said and kissed me again. God I love this girl.
We cuddled for a while and decided it was time to get back home. We held hands the entire time.
Eventually we got back. I opened the door and we walked inside, still holding hands.
"Hey kids, y'all have fun?" Mom asked us. We just blushed, and I Guess that was enough. Aunt Christina and mom exchanged glances then yelled "YES!!! OUR SHIP HAS SAILED!!!!!"
I'm pretty sure uncle Corbyn and dad were confused until they explained what the deal was about.
Uncle Corbyn was walking toward me. I knew what was coming. Chelsea's grip on my hands tightened, as to calm me down.
"Well I am very happy for the two of you. But Dexter, I'm sure you know what I'm about to say" he said and looked at me.
"Yes sir. I promise to never hurt Chelsea in any way. I will love her till the day I die, and even after that. I won't let any harm come to her. And if any guy tries to harm her, both of us will beat the living hell out of him together" I said and smiled back.
I think I handled that pretty well.
A while after that, they had to leave. Mom, Dad and I walked the Bessons to the door.
Once they left, Dad asked me "you really do love her don't you?"
I blushed and said "yeah I do"
"Aaaaaah this is so cute!!!" Mom exclaimed, scaring the fudge out of Dad and I.
"Y/n how much coffee did you have?" Dad asked, which made me laugh.
I was tired, so I went upstairs to my room.
"Goodnight mom. Goodnight dad" I said. Wait. One thing was missing. I ran downstairs and hugged my mother.
"Thanks mom. I love you" I told her.
"Aww I love you too Dexter, now go and get some rest, you've had a long day" she said as I nodded.
I did the same to Dad, and went back to my room and stared at the ceiling.
Finally I could call Chelsea mine.

*switch to Chelsea's POV*

Woah. I can't believe that actually happened. I never knew Dexter thought about me that way. I was always scared to tell him how I really feel because I didn't want to lose our amazing friendship. Thankfully, it's something more now.
My family and I were walking back home, as we lived only a few houses away from the Seaveys.
"He really loves you, ya know?" Dad told me.
I simply smiled and said "how do ya know?"
"Because. He looks at you the same way I look at your mother, and the same way uncle Daniel looks at aunt y/n" he said and smiled.
"You got that off of Pinterest didn't you?" Mom asked him.
"Maybe...." he said under his breath which made me giggle.
We got back home a couple minutes later. I said goodnight to my parents and went to my room.
He's finally mine now.

A/N we almost at 1k 💖
