~ Good news: I have tickets to see twenty one pilots tonight. bad news: I'm in the hospital recovering from surgery.😞

I sigh sadly as I press the button, posting my message on my Twitter account. Hashtag, hospitals suck. I recline onto my pillow and close my eyes as the heavy pain killers kick in, sending me into sleep.

"Oh My God! Oh my. Oh! my! god!"

I'm startled awake by the annoying screams of my best friend as she enters my room. " I'm so excited for tonight" she continues screaming, plopping her skinny, little butt beside me on my bed. I wince in pain as she pulls me into a side hug.

"Ashton, calm the hell down. We are in a hospital you know" I state, placing my hands on her shoulders, just to stop her from bouncing. " I'm sorry, it's just.....you know this is my first concert" she exclaims, while letting out slow deep breaths to calm herself. Her statement sends a small frown to my face, which I quickly cover up with a fake smile, but she of course saw it. " oh, Y/N, I'm sorry, I know it was going to be your first too." She says, apologetically. She stays for most of the morning, just talking about anything and everything or just watching reruns of supernatural. " I should go, wanna get there early" she says, frowning slightly at me, " I'm still sorry" she says, pulling me into another hug. When she pulls away, she promises to buy me some merch and take loads of pictures of the boys, and she sends me a small wave before disappearing from my doorway.

* time skip*

I just finished my under-seasoned meal and I'm scrolling through my Twitter feed. There are lots of tweets and photos marked #T.O.P., of the concert that I missed. stupid spinal surgery. I am then notified of new likes and retweets on my post. I nearly loose the breath in my lungs when I see the retweets.

"What?" I gasp out, shocked that they even saw it, much less replyed. My mini freak-out is interrupted a voice talking loudly from the hallway. It's not just any voice, it's Ash's voice. Does she really not understand what hospitals are. I giggle in excitement of seeing my friend post-concert and to show her my Twitter page. But as her voice gets louder, if that's possible, I realize that she's talking to someone.

Before my mind can race through thoughts of who she would meet at a concert and bring to my hospital room, she enters my doorway. " hey, Ash" I state, struggling to sit myself up in the uncomfortable bed. " OH.My.God!" She breathes out, wrapping her arms around my neck, gently this time. " it was amazing " she rushes out, sitting on my bed, just as she did this morning. " slow down, Ash. Tell me everything" " oh I will, but first..." She tails off and holds out a large bag. I smile, taking the bag from her, before dumping it out on my legs.

In a pile in front of me sits a black T-shirt with the new logo on it, a few bracelets, and a rolled up poster. I slide the bracelets onto my wrist, next to my plastic hospital band. I then smile at Ash, pulling her into another hug, whispering a thank you in her ear. " oh, but that's not all" she sings out, before getting up and dancing to the door. She's only gone for a second, then she returns." This gift wouldn't fit in a bag" that's when they appear behind her. Josh and Tyler are in my room.

" hi, I'm Tyler, you must be Y/N " the lead singer of my favorite band is in front of me. Oh wait, he's also talking to me. " uh, yeah. Um, hi" I studders out. Come on, don't be shy now. He only smiles at me and moves to the side of my bed, Josh appears at the other side. As they both lean into give me a hug, my heart monitor is beeping abnormally loud and quick.

They eventually pulled away and Ash took her spot on my bed as Josh and Tyler found chairs in the room. I swear we talked for what seemed like hours. They ask me and Ashton all kinds of questions, and they seemed genuinely interested in our lives. But, before long, a soft knock is heard on my door.

" I'm sorry, but visiting hours are over. She needs her rest" my night nurse States simply, before exiting again. My three guest, move to leave. Ash gives me a hug, promising to visit tomorrow, and Tyler gives a small smile saying goodbye as well. They both turn to look at Josh, who only nods at them and they leave. Okay then.

I look at him in confusion as he, hugs me yet again, adding a light kiss on my cheek." Hope you feel better" he states moving away and writing something on my hand " call me, okay" he says, adding a wink, before he joins the others in the hallway.

I smile to myself. "Did that really just happen"

" Oh My God! " I hear my very loud friend scream from my doorway. " you get all the luck"

Yep. Good trade. Back surgery and a drummer's phone number
