You Break Up

Naruto

You stood at the gate, waiting for Naruto. You were going to say goodbye, a permanent goodbye, at least while he was gone. You sighed softly as you watched him walk towards the gate with the Sannin. As Naruto's eye landed on you, his face broke into a wide smile and he ran up to you and pulled you into a tight hug. You wrapped your arms around him slightly, before pulling away from him.

"I know that this three years thing freaks you out, but when I come back it'll be-" Naruto started, but you simply placed your hand over his mouth to silence him.

"I'm sorry Naruto, but I can't do this. I know this is a great opportunity for you, but everything is going to change these next three years, as much as you don't want it to." You said softly, fighting back your tears. You gave him a soft smile. "You leaving is too hard to cope with, so I guess I'm breaking up with you. Maybe when you get back things won't have changed, but three years is a long time to not talk."

"(Y/N), I don't want things to end, why don't you come with us? Although, Pervy Sage might not be the best person to train you... But I could try to visit or something." Naurto began to ramble about all the ways that you could make it work, but you knew deep down that nothing was going to work.

"Naruto, you go. Go and train and focus on bringing Sasuke back, I'll always be supporting you from the background." You said before kissing his cheek and then walking away from your now ex-boyfriend.

Sasuke

You watched the pinkette beg your boyfriend to stay with the village, and how happy she could make him happy. You watched the pathetic girl get knocked out by him before jumping down a hundred yards ahead of him, standing in the middle of the path. You crossed you arms as you watched him, your eyes meeting his.

"Are you here to beg me to stay with you too? That you can help me?" Sasuke asked with a sarcastic tone as he looked at you. You shook your head slowly as you looked at him.

"No, I'm here to end it. I know that nothing I say will keep you here, even if I called you an idiot and that leaving with that man is just going to leave you living on the edge for the rest of your life." You said as you looked at him and then smiled softly. "Thank you for showig me that even the people you trust the most only use you for alternative motives. I'm here to end things."

"End things?" Sasuke asked as he watched you for a moment before taking a couple steps forward, until he was standing straight in front of you. You looked up at him and then stepped out of his way. "Is that what you really want? You could come with me, we would learn so much and we'd excel together. All you have to do is leave with me."

"I'm not abandoning my village. Because I don't support the motives of you leaving, I can't support where your going and who you are going to be with? You deserve so much Sasuke, but you throw it away for something that may never happen." You said softly, looking at the ground with a sigh. "Goodbye Sasuke, I hope you accomplish everything you need to."

You and Sasuke went separate ways that night, Sasuke to Orochimaru to train and you back towards the village, your goal to become the best ninja that you could, but you as you did, both of you shut down any emotions you had once held, the only one left to drive your towards you goal was anger.

Shikamaru

You refused to see or talk to Shikamaru for a week, trying to make it obvious that you were done with the relationship, you weren't going to be treated like anything less than you deserved. If he wanted to call you boring then that was on him, but you were done.

You had been called into Tsunade's office to get a mission and as you walked in your saw Shikamaru's team standing there.

"Great your finally here, now we can start talking details." Tsunade said and you scoffed and shook your head, everyone turning their attention to you.
