"Am I interrupting?" Caliban appears on my room door.
"Actually..." Sabrina starts to say, but I cut her off.
"No. We are just hanging out." I tell him.
"I just came to check out your wound."
"What wound?!" Sabrina asks, worried. "What did you do to her Caliban?! I swear I will-"
"If I had hurt the Queen, why would I check on her well-being?" He answers, a little mad.
"Because you are a narcissist and went to check if the throne was empty so you could take it?!" Sabrina is on fire, almost ready to burn Caliban alive.
"Guys, stop it. Caliban wasn't the one who hurt me. Someone tried to take me away from the throne, but we still don't know who. Lilith is trying to find out. Caliban was the one who healed my wound. I'm okay now. I promise."
"Why didn't you tell us?!" Roz asks.
"I didn't want you to worry about it. I knew that being Queen was going to be hard."
"Yeah but not almost-getting-killed type of hard." Harvey states.
"I'm okay now."
"I swear by Hell Caliban, if you had something to do with Serena's attack, I will slice your throat ear to ear!" She threatens him.
"As you say, princess." He answers and woosh out of the room. Hearing him call princess to Sabrina hurt me. I don't know why. Maybe I was getting too much fond of his nickname towards me.
When it begins to get late, by mundane hours, the gang has to go because they have school tomorrow. They all say goodbye to me and promise to come back as soon as possible.
But something is bothering me.
I grab one of Sabrina's magic book and use the teletransporting spell. I end up in the middle of a red, gold and black room. I see Caliban sit on a chair reading a book. He looks up to me and then back to his book.
"What does my Queen wish?"
"I came to see you."
"Oh, then I should be honored." He says, mocking me.
"I'm sorry for how Sabrina treated you, she shouldn't have done that."
"Why? Are you worry about my feeling?" He smirks.
"Maybe."
"You shouldn't princess, I don't have any. I'm made of clay, remember?" He states, without looking at me.
"I don't believe that." I answer him back. "You clearly do have. Towards me." He raises his head. "You want the throne. If you care for that then you have feelings."
"If you say so, princess."
"Why do you even want it, Caliban?"
"Same reason as you: power."
"I don't want it for the power, I took the throne to save my friends and my home." I admit it and he look straight to my eyes.
"If we would wed, you could keep earth safe and not worry about the throne and the council."
"You told that you wanted to rule earth and make it the ten circle of Hell."
"Well, that's call compromising. I would leave earth alone, for you."
"Why?" I ask, curious.
"Because I want to be king and monarchs compromise." I keep quiet, watching him.
"Let's imagine that I say yes to that, how would our relationship be?"
"We would be whatever you want." He stands up and starts to walk towards me.
"You just told me you don't have feelings."
"Carnal?"
"Really?! That's what you think?! I don't know how it works in Hell, but I don't sleep with just anyone!" I'm truly offended by his words.
In a word I'm back at my room. All alone again.
