Chapter 17~ Missing.

*Emerin's POV*

When I woke up, it was late . "YEEEAAARRRHHH!!!" I yelled. Holy Kami, I'm so freaking late! Ahhh!!!! I'm later then Kakashi Sensei!!! I'm supposed to meet the team like, five hours ago!!! Now it was 12!! That's it. I'm dead.

Ok, I've finished dressing. Actually, it's strange that I haven't seen Misuno. She'd usually be up at around 7.

Meh, must have overslept. I mean, we did just come back from a ridiculously hard C-rank which turned out to be an A-rank.

I snuck in to her room...and she wasn't there! Like what the s**t?! She'd never leave without me. I checked the roof, no sign of her. The toilet, no sign of her. What happened? It's like she dropped off the face of the earth! I decided to check her room one last time. You know, before I start freaking out.

I walked into her room, and started searching. I checked her bed and closet. Nothing. I was about to leave the room when I stepped on something. It felt flakey. I looked under my foot. It was a small message, written in blood. I could barely make it out since it was scrawled. But it was clear enough for me to see what it said. Help me Emerin.

My head snapped up. Misuno! Kami, why does this happen to me? I checked the blood. It was old. About a few hours. Not too long. I grabbed my things and started to leave but I bumped into Valerie at the house entrance. I growled. I didn't have time for this! "If it isn't miss Crystal." She smirked. "Thanks for the compliment but I have no time for this." I tried to push past her but she blocked me. "Aww, don't be so cold." She smirked. "I don't care. Now, what do you want?" I snarled.

"I just graduated, you see. I want to fight you.I was the first in class." She grinned. I resisted the urge to facepalm. " Yeah, you were first in a buch of kids younger then you." She just grinned evily." But, you see, I'm the best fighter. So I'm obviously better then you. Special abillity or no, I can still beat you." Kami, I'm in a hurry here and she can't see that?! She must be blind.

I just did handsigns to shunshin. "Cya." And I poofed away.

I reappeared in the woods. My sensing abillities have gotten better ever since Misuno tought me how to. My sense of direction has gotten better too. I sensed a faint trace of Misuno's chakra towards the south so I ran in that direction. Misuno, hang on.

*Misuno's POV*

I groaned. Everything hurt. Especially my head. I opened my eyes.I was in a dark room. I couldn't see anything except for pairs nine of eyes that scrutinized me. But one of the eyes caught my attention. It was purple and ringed. I caught my breath. The rinnengan. I stood up shakily. The wielder of the rinnengan spoke "We have watched you for a long time, Harajuku Misuno. " "What do you want from me?" I ventured cautiously. "Join the Akatsuki.You would be a valuble asset to us."

My hand shook "Why the hell would I join you?! You people went rouge from your own villages and you hunt down jinchuuriki! My own best friend is a jinchuuriki! I rather die then betray her and my village!! I won't betray Emerin to the likes of you scum!" I screamed.

The rinnengan wielder seemed unhinged by my yelling. He simply said " You have no choice. Join the Akatsuki." I was about to say something when I heard the sound of a weapon from outside.

*Emerin's POV*

It took me two hours to locate the source of Misuno's chakra. By the way, I left a message at my house to say where I was going if anyone checks.

When I found the Akatsuki's hideout, I could feel Misuno's chakra. There was a boulder blocking the entrance.

I formed a hammer and bashed it against the boulder. Even though there was a barrier on the boulder, I still managed to crack it. I whacked it again and this time, it crumbled.

I ran inside and was attacked by a trap. Puppets. I formed a crystal sword and slashed at the chakra strings. The puppets fell to the ground,unmoving.

I activated the eye thing I got in the land of waves, I should find out the name,you know. As I activated it, a whole new list of crystal jutsus came into my mind. They were so advanced. One of the jutsus caught my eye. It was like the Uchiha's Susanno. The eye I had was so advanced that I won't lose my sight.

So, I did what any person who wants to save their friend would do. I activated the Crystal Susanno.
