Chapter 30~ Emerin's past. Why she won't love anymore.

*Emerin's POV*

I hopped through the window and saw who it was. Sasuke???!!!! He was staring into Misuno window. I giggled to myself. Love, eh?

I decided to disturb him. I snuck up behind him and surprisingly, he didn't notice. I learned forward and screamed into his ear. "WASSUP??!!"

Ok, maybe I over did it all little. He did seem shaken up. "Hn, dobe." Sasuke was probably mad that I caused his famous Uchiha bravado to go straight our of the window.

"So... are you spying on Misuno?" I grinned evily. Sasuke blushed a beet red. I got him there. "Heh, it's a wonder how you got Misuno to fall for you. You know, since you're a duck." Sasuke gave me one of his Uchiha glares,which I didn't flinch at. "Dude you can glare at me all you like but I don't give a shit."

"Hn, you're like the other girls, trying to find love." "Love? As if there is such a thing. The only thing you'll get is heartbreak in the end. I stopped long ago. So I won't can't feel the pain of heartbreak."

I gave him a closed eye smile before I jumped away.

I saw Naruto walking to me. He scratched his head nervously.

"H...hey... I...I was wondering if you'd like to eat ramen with me." My face broke into a grin. "Sure!"

When we reached the ramen store, Naruto was our of breath. Jeez, he's so unfit.

After our ramen came, I started eating. "Hey, Rin-chan?" That was my nickname. "Yeah?" I asked, a ramen strand hanging from my mouth. "Is this a date?" I almost spit out my ramen.

I looked down. "I'm sorry Naruto, but no." Oh Kami, now he looks so sad. I'm feeling bad.

I quickly slurped up the rest of my ramen and left the money on the counter. After I quick cya, I ran off to go and train for the finals.

*Naruto's POV*

I wonder why Emerin gets all upset when anyone mentions something about love. It's like she can't stand the word. I decided to go and ask Misuno, since she has been Emerin's friend for a long time.

When I got to the hospital, Misuno was talking to the teme Sasuke.

I jumped into the ledge of the window after Sasuke left. "Misuno-chan!" Misuno turned her head sharply as if to say 'what?' "How come Emerin-chan doesn't like the word love?"

Misuno's eyes darkened. "Emerin doesn't love anymore. She was heartbroken once. She had thought the person she loved cared about her, but he was only toying with her emotions. After some time, he just ripped her heart out. Emerin was broken. Torn apart. She never loved again. I know, very crappy description of mine."

Is that why Emerin won't love anymore?

*Emerin's POV*

I hurled my kunai at the wood target and it hit the target dead on the center. After I pulled out all of the kunai from the log, I started punching a tree. At each thought of love that poured into my mind, I punched the tree harder.

Love. Who needs that kind of love? It causes you nothing but heartbreak.

*Flashback*

"Danny!" I called. I was only 13 at that time. "Danny! Where are you?" I called again. "Dan-!" I stopped short, seeing my boyfriend making out with another girl who I later knew as Carla.

"Uh... hey, Emerin." I looked to the ground, sadness settling into my heart.

"Why Danny?" Danny's kind face twisted into a sneer. "What do you think, Rin-chan?" He asked mockingly. "I never wanted to be in a relationship with a slut like you." Carla grinned mockingly. "Danny is all mine, whore!"

They wanted me to cry. Their grinning faces proved it to me. I forced a smile on my face. "Frankly, I don't give a damn about you. If this is what my 'boyfriend' is like, I'm glad you aren't my boyfriend anymore." I may have seemed strong, but on the inside, someone was breaking down, crying.

I turned my heel to them and walked away. They must have been angry that they couldn't get me to cry because Carla ran up to me, trying to slap me. But I grabbed her hand. "I tried letting you off easy. Well, too bad. I tried." I said darkly. With that, I twisted Carla's hand and she kept screaming in agony. With one final twist, I snapped the bone in her hand and she lay there on the floor, crying her eyes out.

Danny ran over to her, trying to comfort her. He looked up at me. "You...you monster!" He screamed.

My eyes fell on him. "Monster? Maybe I am one." I lifted my hand. "But... I wouldn't be like this if it weren't for you." I walked closer, advancing on him.

"Stay away from me, you freak!" Danny screamed, fear evident in his eye.

My eyes flashed evily. "Oh... one more thing. We're over." And I snapped his arm.

How interesting eh? By the way, if you're wondering why in writing, let's just say Keytar_Moustache_JY was being a lazy bum and she asked me to do the chapter. Oh well. She has to write the next two chapters. LOL. I think I gave her writer's block. Cya.
