Chapter 27~ Emerin's fight with Valerie!

*Emerin's POV*

Once the fights were wrapped up, we gathered the winner's gathered in the arena. Of course I didn't take the stairs! Who needs stairs when you're a ninja?

Oh! I forgot to mention who won.

Let's just say that Me, Misuno, Sasuke, Naruto, Neji, Shikamaru, Shino,Temari, Kankuro,Garra and Dosu won.

"Now that the exams are over, we will give you a month to recover and develop new jutsus to make the exam fair." Oh, now they decide to make the exams fair?!

"There is one more thing you have to do-" "WHAT??!! MORE EXAMS??!! I'M FLIPPIN EXHAUSTED!!!" I yelled, interrupting the old man.

He chuckled. "No, Emerin. It's the drawing if the slips of paper." Still, it requires energy.

Once the slips were drawn, I had only one thought. "Holy pudding! Shino speaks?!"

So... they Naruto VS Neji. Garra VS Sasuke. Shino VS Kankuro. Shikamaru VS Temari. Misuno VS Dosu. Me Vs ???.

I raised my hand. "What's with the ???.Is that who I'm fighting?" I asked stupidly.

"There's no one to fill the slot so you will battle whoever wins in Dosu and Misuno's mat-." "SAY WHAT??!! I MIGHT END UP FIGHTING MISUNO???!!! ARE YOU INSANE??!!! NO!!! I'M NOT FIGHTING MY BEST FRIEND YOU PITTER!!!!!!" The hokage just sighed and said "Fine. You'll fight someone we'll pick out." "That's better." I mumbled.

Once we got back home, I was all for jumping on my bed and having a nap. Unfortunately, someone had to interrupt me.

I dragged myself to the door and saw Cara there, looking frantic. "Whaddya want? If someone isn't dying, you have hell to pay!"

"It's an emergency!! Valerie is raging back at the house and wants you to fight her! She said to meet her at training field 12! She said if you decline, she will win by default and you'll be a weakling!"

I gained an anime vein. "She's in that much of a hurry to die? This is so on!"

I ran back into the house and grabbed my stuff. My katana, my leaf headband and this ribbon thing I started to wear on my head.(From the book's cover. The thing she was wearing on her head. I have no idea what's it called so I'll just call it a ribbon.) Then I shunshined to the training field.

Valerie was already there, grinning like a manic. I raised my eyebrows. "You gonna stand there and keep grinning?" She settled for a smirk. "First of all, you can use your most powerful technique." Alicia told us. Hey... when did she get here? Anyway, Alicia raised her hand and brought it down, signaling he start of the fight. Valerie didn't do anything. She just stood there,smirking. I again, raised my eyebrow."If you're not gonna attack me, I will!"

I charged for her, my katana drawn. Valerie barely managed to dodge. Must have been in her little mind, thinking of the glory she'll get if she defeats me.

She took out a kunai and threw it at me. I dodged but failed to notice a needle she threw a second after the kunai since I was focused on the kunai. It nearly hit me in the intended spot but I was quick enough to block it from the spot, which was my lung, with my hand.

I winced at I pulled it out. I still hate these needles ever since the land of waves. More kunai came at me so I flipped over them and landed behind Valerie, my katana pointed to her back.

Suddenly, she poofed away. My eyes widened. "Shoot! I was completely underestimating her!" I sensed her chakra behind me and I spun around just in time to see her finish a set of handsigns. "Earth style! Ground rapture jutsu!" She slammed her palm into the ground and the ground started cracking. I jumped away but was slammed into the ground.

Ok, I've seriously been holding back, since I don't actually want to kill her but she proved herself stronger then I thought.

I quickly did handsigns. "Crystal style, Crystal Dragon jutsu!" My Crystal started taking the form of a dragon. Once it finished, it looked like it could tear you to pieces any moment.

Valerie panicked and did similar handsigns. "Earth style, Earth Dragon jutsu!" A earth Dragon emerged. But it was clear who had the stronger jutsu. Once the jutsus clashed, Valerie's jutsu crumbled. My jutsu directed at Valerie but she flipped over on my Dragon.

I smirked. That was what I wanted her to do. She kicked me off the dragon. But unknown to her, I left so clone hidden there. I saw my clone raise up and put its katana round her neck. The look of shock in her eyes told me that she didn't expect that. I released my Dragon jutsu and jumped to her. I walked over to her and said "I win."

I released the jutsu and put my hand out to her. Hey, she may be my personal bully but I'm not too cold hearted not to help her up.

Well, she just ignored me and stared at the floor, her fist clenched. After a few tries, I gave up and went to fix myself up.

*???'s POV*

"Did you see that?" "Yeah." "The Jinchuuriki was having a bit of a hard time fighting that other girl. She has some talent." "Maybe we could use her against the Jinchuuriki."

I jumped to where the girl was. She seemed startled. I held my hand out to her. "We can help you become stronger. You want to defeat her right?." Her eyes flashed with interest and reached out. Just as her hand was on mine, I heard someone coming.

*Emerin's POV*

Oh crap. I forgot my ribbon thing! It fell off my head during my battle.

I ran back to the training field. No, I didn't feel like shunshining.

Just as I burst through the trees, I caught sight of the familiar black cloak with red clouds. I hissed and dropped to a crouch, pulling out my katana. "You!" I growled.

Valerie's head snapped to me. "Valerie! Get away from that guy!" I yelled at her. I prepared to charge at the black and white guy, who happens to be a stalker if I may add.

But Valerie... made no move to move. She stood up and faced me. "The next time we fight. I shall win." And she turned away. I can't believe what she was saying. "Valerie! Don't go! Are you really, going to abandon what's your home now?!" I yelled.

"To defeat you, yes." Then she walked away, disappearing with the stalker.
