Chapter 17: Paranoid

I really wanted to meet up with Dawn to have a talk with her about this attacker. I needed to know if she knew what the girl looked like. I can't deal with somebody trying to hurt me.

I was sitting at the little bistro that Dawn told me to meet her at waiting on her. So many thoughts were going thru my mind. A phone call snapped me out of my thoughts. It was Aubrey calling. I started to answer the phone but that's when I saw Dawn coming in. I made a mental note to call Aubrey back.

She sat down with this nerves look on her face. She always just seemed so up tight. She looked like she was always looking around for somebody. " You alright girl. You don't look to good." I said to Dawn as she took her seat. She just shook her head.

" Desire I really need to ask you something. Has anyone been calling you saying things to you from a unknown number?" She said looking scared. I knew exactly what she was talking about. I was getting those calls. " I have been getting calls like that ever since I moved from New York to Atlanta." I told her. I was so over this whole ordeal but I really want to know who this girl is.

" I'm getting scared Des. The calls are becoming more and more frequent. The threats are getting worst and worst. I'm afraid to leave my house half the time." She said with tears rolling down her face. I felt so bad for her even after every thing she put me thru. I wonder what this girl is doing all of this for. Dawn nor myself deal with Aubrey anymore so I just don't get it. I tried to reach out to Rihanna because Dawn told me that she was attacked by this mystery girl too, but I haven't been able to reach her.

" Dawn do you know what this girl looks like? Do you know who she is or why she is doing this?" I asked her trying to put the puzzle together. " I never saw her face and I don't know her name. I just want to move on with my life you know." She said sounding so defeated. " Well I have to catch my flight so I will keep in touch with you Dawn. I hope everything works out for you." I said standing to leave.

" Des be safe out here okay. I am really sorry for everything I ever put you thru." She said giving me a hug. I walked to my car with even more questions than I had before I got here. Only person that could possibly have answers is Aubrey himself. I would have to wait til I got back to Atlanta to get those answers from him.

Four Days Later

I was talking to Desaundra about being on Love and Hip Hop and she thought it was a great idea. I was still on the fence about it. I had met some of the cast members and they weren't that bad. I don't think I would have any problems with anyone but you never know. People think that drama shit is the wave and I'm not about crazy shit. I haven't talked to Dawn since I saw her in Miami but I hope she is okay.

I was working out when my phone started ringing. I looked at the phone and it was Rihanna.

Conversation:
" Hey girl! WUS up I been trying to get in touch with you"
Rhianna: " I know I been busy girl. What did you need?"
" I ran into Dawn when I was in Miami and she was telling me that Aubrey had this stalker that was attacking people and she had attacked you too. Do know who she is or what she looked like?"
Rihanna: " What! The only stalker Drake has is Dawn's crazy ass. I was never attacked by anybody so I don't know where she got that bullshit from. Des she is crazy don't take nothing she says seriously Ok. I gotta go but I will call you back soon girl"
" Ok girl later"

I hung that phone up even more confused. Why would Dawn lie about that? She seemed so scared so I really don't think she was making the whole thing up. I don't get it at all. What the hell is going on? Is RiRi denying it because she is embarrassed? I don't know what to think anymore. " Hey boo what you doing?" I heard Desaundra say as she walked in the house.

" I'm just trying to figure out all this stalker madness." I said sitting down next to her on the couch. " Well did you talk to Rihanna yet bout if she was attacked?" She asked. " Well see that's the thing I just got off the phone with her and she said she was never attacked. She also said the only stalker Aubrey has is Dawn." I said. " Well you know that bitch is crazy she could be lying. Maybe she is just saying she was attacked so that you won't think she was the one that shot you." Desaundra said.

" I saw her scar Sauna and she couldn't have faked that. Why would she lie about being attacked like that and calling it her karma for making me lose my baby. It just doesn't add up." I said sounding super confused. This shit was like a episode of Murder She Wrote. " You will never understand the mind of a crazy person Desire. I just think you should stay away from her. She could still be dangerous." She said. I just don't see it and I don't understand this shit.

Mean while Back in Miami.....

" Please don't hurt me I'm sorry." Dawn cried out to her attacker. " I told you to stop talking to fucking Diamond. You got this bitch trying to figure out who I am. You haven't learned yet have you." Unknown said smacking Dawn. " I just don't want to hurt her anymore or be hurt just leave me alone. I don't want Aubrey anymore. I'm happy with Devon he loves me." She said in tears. " Bitch you will always want Drake but he's MINE!" Unknown yelled.

I don't want to be hurt anymore so I'm not gonna argue with her. If I just lay here and be quiet she will let me go. " Dawn don't fuck with me cause I will kill you bitch and take over. After you tell Diamond the stalker is gone and she gets comfortable I'm gonna take her and you out." Unknown said with a sinister grin. I'm scared to death. I just want Devon to hurry back home so she can just go away and leave me alone. I can't keep doing this to Desire or myself.
