She had reached home with all the girls who cast her worried looks continuously, the pity evident in their eyes as she forced herself to look out the window for majority of the journey. Her heart was bleeding and she did not have the will power to stop the blood from oozing out. Once they made it home she bolted out the car into her room and locking the door in a rushed frenzy. She slid down the door the next second as she drew her legs to her chest cradling herself as a fresh set of tears cascaded down her face as she sat there contemplating when their love had turned to poison. He was her love. Her hero. Her best friend. And now he was nothing. All in the space of minutes. She had forgotten it was her birthday, the idea of celebration thrown out the window as her sobs came out like a desperate scream for help. Her heart thudding violently against its cage. She hated him. The thought constantly repeating on her mind as she begged her heart to believe it. For once she let herself cry full well knowing that her teammates were listening, she was tired of being strong. It wasn't until a few hours later that she had looked at her phone, she saw messages from him. She opened her camera roll deleting picture after picture. Memory after memory. The torture becoming unbearable as she forced herself to stop leaving three photos before throwing her phone to the floor besides her. She could feel the exhaustion flow through her body, the will to fight leaving as she gave up collapsing to the floor in a heap. It wasn't until twenty minutes later that the girls had noticed it got visibly quieter, the tension apparent on their features as they banged on the door not hearing a response. They grabbed the set of keys unlocking the door and bolting in, their eyes widening at Irene's fragile form.

The next half an hour was a blur, she was rushed into hospital with doctors and nurses reviving her. The worry etched into their face. It took another hour for the girls to actually get some news, the doctor calling the girls and their manager into the room that held a now fully conscious Irene, who sat staring into nothing. "She's over done herself, the exhaustion caused her to collapse it was that bad because she's pregnant..." stunned faces stared back at him including Irene's who failed to process what the doctor had just spoken. Looking at her expression he questioned. "Didn't you know?...your two months pregnant." Irene looked at her manager and girls shaking her head violently as she struggled to breathe. "Woah woah woah Irene you need to calm down." Said the manager who sat on the bed grasping her hands. "It's okay child, we will get you through this. We will go through each step together...okay." Irene's eyes softened before relaxing as she nodded as he smiled at her, the girls pulling her into a group hug as the doctor left the room. "I'm going to be a mum." She said with tears in her eyes. She looked up at the others who smiled at her "And we are gonna be the best aunts and uncle." And for the first time that day...Irene had smiled.

They had got back home with the manager who came in with them. The girls instantly fussing over Irene who laughed at the way they were acting, she turned to her manager. "How are we going to do this? I don't want to leave the girls..." this caused all the girls to sit down, somber looks on their faces as they all sat there contemplating. Irene looked at her manager. " I have some songs that I've been working on, a album actually... I have the concepts that I want to do and so what if I release this solo album for my half. I've also written group songs as well so we can start choreography for them and developing a concept, I'm not showing yet so I can get away with it, then I'll go on a mini break. We can use something like I'm sick." The manager nodded his head in agreement, "that sounds like a good plan Irene, but then we need to start recording ASAP. Rest today and come to the studio tomorrow and we will go through everything." She nodded as he got up kissing her forehead saying "it's going to be okay." Before leaving. The girls sat down surrounding Irene whose tears had clouded, Wendy pulled Irene to her as she spoke. "It's Jackson's, Wends what am I going to do." Wendy just hugged her own tears falling at her older sister's plight. "Gosh I was so dumb to go through with it-" "Irene you didn't know about the cheating, he has done you wrong not the other way round and now he's getting his punishment...not having you and that's now his problem. Your main priority is your health and your child, you are going to have double responsibility but you'll get through it because we will help when times get rough. You need to be strong, forget Jackson." Irene looked up at her nodding at the pep talk. "Your right...we need to sort the music out, promote, make music videos as well, I'll see you guys in the morning I want to be out the house by nine." They nodded at her saluting as Irene laughed before walking somewhat confidently to her room the girls sadly smiling after her. "Will she be okay?" Asked Yeri. Suelgi looked at the door that just closed softly, "of course she will...she's Irene." The girls shared one last smile before heading to sleep. Irene lay in her bed, her hand on her stomach. "I'll fight for you baby. Your mother is not weak."
