*Farheen POV.*
Ever since we left my place, Ilhaam was a bit weird. She looked at me as if she wanted to tell me something, and I bet she wasn't even listening to what I was talking about.
We arrive at her place, it's a small apartment but very homey!
"Assalam Alleikum! " we greet in unison as we entered the apartment.
"Walleikum Salaam." Her mother says. "You came just in time for prayer." she says in a smile, she is such a beautiful woman; and doesn't look so thrilling like Ilhaam illustrates.
"Mum, she is Farheen a new friend." Ilhaam says gesturing and he mother receives me in a warm smile. "Welcome, how was your day together?" She asks.
"It was so much fun, I stepped out of my lonely life for once." I reply shyly in a smile.
"That's good." She says grinning at me. "you are such a beautiful girl." she says.
A man enters the living room greeting. "Assalam Alleikum. "
"Walleikum Salaam. " I say.
"He's my Dad. Dad, she is my friend." Ilhaam says.
"Very nice to meet you. We have almost never met any of Ilu's friends." He says.
"you met Negad."
"years ago." He points out.
"She moved." Ilhaam says right away...
"You are too awkward, nobody wants to be your friend." I whisper in a joke and she gives me a playful deadly look. And her parents laugh.
"Are you joining us for prayer?" Her mother asks.
"Yes, sure." I say right away.
"Go call your brothers, Ilhaam. " her mother demands and we move into a corridor opening one of the doors we find three boys, one laying on the bed with a cell phone and the other two playing fighting.
"These are the Pests." She says pulling a face and I laugh. I think I'm good with only one brother. "hey, time to pray. Go make Wudhu." I demand and they didn't seem to see us, until they saw Farheen.
"We know. Don't need to shout." The oldest replies annoyed.
"Hullo." The little one waves to me and they go back to fighting. I wave back laughing.
"They are so adorable! " I say and Ilhaam gives me a side look.
"No, they aren't." Ilhaam says frowning. "I'M GOING TO BREAK THAT PHONE, THEN I'M GOING TO BREAK YOUR FINGER AND THEN BREAK SOME PEOPLE 'S LEGS." She yells.
"Fine." the one laying on the bed stands up and leaves the room.
"Ahmeed." She warns.
"Yes." He says stopping breathless in front of us.
"What did I say?" Ilhaam asks and he shruggs as if he didn't know.
"Go make wudhu." She yells and he yells the same words right after and runs outside with the other boy. "You call that adorable?" She complains and I laugh.
"Do you always pray together? " I ask, because I can't recall when it was the last time I prayed with mu family. I don't even know if they really pray.
"yeah, when we are all home we pray together. Most of the time, my dad and my brothers go to the mosque; it's highly recommended. But a family that prays together stays together." she says and that touched my heart. Maybe that's why my family is never together. We never really pray. I mean, I pray, but I don't know if my father and brother do.
