Enjoy!
*Farheen POV.*
I haven't seen Ilhaam ever since I came into the school and she said we would meet up later. I was worried to the tip of my hair, she won't even answer my calls.
"Ilu! I'm worried, where are you? I haven't seen you ever since and apparently nobody has seen you in your class. Call me when you hear this voicemail, please." This is the forth voice mail I'm leaving for her.
I don't know if I should really worry. "Hey, Farh." I turn to see Samantha trying to say my name.
"Farheen." I say and smile.
"Yeah Farheen." She says smiling, her smile fades away as she sees my preoccupied expression. "Is something wrong?" She asks.
"Have you seen Ilhaam?" I ask with urgency and she nods now preoccupied too.
"As a matter of fact she didn't show up to any class. And Ilhaam is not the type to miss school, even if she is sick she never stays home during class time." Samantha speaks so fast, I believe I caught one or two words of what she said. So I just nod.
"Oh, there she is." Samantha says and I turn to see Ilhaam in a rather lost expression in her face.
We walk to her. "Habibi, you bailed class today. That's not you." Samantha says.
"What happened?" I ask.
"Ummm." She says nervous and cleans her throat. "I was in the hospital."
"Are you, ok?" Me and Samantha ask in unison preoccupied.
"Yes." She say confused. "I'm." She nods. "It's just my mum, some complication in her pregnancy." She says in a fading smile.
"You should have told me. I was so worried." I say.
"Is the baby alright?" Samantha asks.
"Yeah, yeah." She chuckles nervous. "Totally fine, it was just a faint. I think." She says and tries a smile.
"Allehumdullilah." I say stroking her shoulder.
"Jazakallah." She mouths.
"What are you doing here, now?" Samantha asks. "Do you have any other class?" Ilhaam frowns thoughtful.
"Oh, yeah." She glares at her watch. "I don't." She says and chuckles and I frown observing her. "I was hoping I would come on time. But, meh..."
"You are definitely, not ok." I mutter. "I will escort you home, ok."
"Ok, you didn't need to bother. But, we can attend Jummah before going home." Ilham suggests.
"Can I get a lift too? I don't have my ride today." Samantha says and locks her teeth in a smile.
"Sure, where are you going?" I ask.
"House." She replies.
"I know, but where? So that I tell the driver to drop you off after he leaves us at the mosque." I say and they both giggle. I'm missing the joke.
"House is this club where the kids of this college like to hang out on a Friday like today." Ilhaam explains.
"Ohw, Okay."
"Let's go there is a mosque around that area." Ilhaam says.
*Ilhaam POV.*
We stop in front of the building to drop Samantha. "House is a building?" Farheen ask frowning.
"The actual 'House' place is on the roof top."I explain. "But, isn't it kinda early?" I wonder.
"I'm promoting the party, so have to be here for a meeting before the actual thing." Samantha says and blows us kisses as she leaves the car. "If you guys want to party tonight give me a call for free entrance."
