"I guess we were too late." Bismarck says as she, Mikasa, Akagi and Kaga talk with the Eagle Union girls.
"I was going under repairs so I missed it as well." Newcastle replies. "But he really is gone."
"Yeah, he is." Pennsylvania says. "I just wonder what he's doing as of now."
"I can probably imagine he's living his life to the fullest." Bismarck replies. "He was always full of energy. Even though he might not have as much as he did before I still think he's gonna need an outlet for that energy."
"He told me he did a lot of writing." Pennsylvania replies. "Perhaps he'll document his time here."
"Perhaps." Akagi says. "Say, where is Yorktown?"
"Yeah where is she? In her room?" Kaga asks.
"It's around the evening, so there's only one other place where she could be." Enterprise says as she points out to the window where Yorktown is sitting at the docks, watching the sunset. "It was almost a tradition for her and the captain to get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise, and then watch the sunset until the moon came up."
"Aww that's cute!" Akagi replies. "But now that he's gone though... Who will accompany her now?"
"I'm not sure really." Enterprise says. "Maybe I'll be the one to do it, who am I to know? But as long as we're still alive, we'll cherish that captain and hold him dearly, in our hearts."
"Did you ever learn his name?" Bismarck asks.
"Jack." Enterprise replies. Meanwhile with Yorktown...
"Captain... Jack..." Yorktown says to herself as she continues to watch the sunset. "I can almost imagine you next to me as I speak, all cuddled up with me. I know you probably won't hear this, but I will never forget you and how caring you were for not just me, but for all the girls under your command. You truly have left a mark on me that will never go away, and I'm more than happy that it was you. Wherever you are right now, however you're doing, I hope you live a long, happy life." She finishes as she looks at her oath ring. "I love you, Jack."
