Broken Angel

Chapter 7

I has been two weeks my father disowned me, basically sold me and I'm miserable. You know I would say it's better now that I was here in this amazing mansion and that no body is physically abusing me and I'm left alone in this room, with just a window looking over the garden.

2 weeks back when I saw that Man, I had a panic attack and some not so good memories came back.

He thought I was pretending to have a panic attack to push his buttons cause that's all I've ever done since I've woken up. That's was his words and it didn't even get any good from there. He got more pissed cause I couldn't breath and started shouting and trashing the room reminding me of my father.

I screamed and pathetically begged him to stop and he just didn't listen. When he was done he turned to face me like a predictor and I was his prey.

I was shitting myself, scared out of my mind that I was curled up in a ball as the only defensive mechanism that I know. He stopped and told me to get out. Funny thing is, I did get out but I didn't know where to go. Until some guy showed me to my room.

Later on that day Damien cane and told me to get out of my room until further notice and meals will be sent. Know as not knowing where to go and what to do, I don't know where those meals would find me.

But that guy I had met earlier on, had told me this was my punishment for being disrespectful. They took the TV and books and left. They send meals twice a day but that doesn't make much difference because I only eat in the morning and leave dinner for the maids to take back.

Now back to sitting in this room. It's been driving me a bit crazy, have to say. I really don't know the purpose I hold in this world or what role I Should play in my own life.

I have one question for the person who decided that it was a great idea to bring me here. I would have to ask him why did he bother because clearly I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing.

All through this drama Amanda tries to visit me because no one is supposed to be here or to comfort me during my punishment. I still don't know what I did wrong but he said I was trying to question his authority. But every time Amanda visits me, we don't even last 30 minutes without Damien coming to drag her out.

Things I've learned about Amanda in this short time is that she's funny, beautiful, down to earth and is appearantly in a relationship with Damien. They have been dating for about a year now. Also found out that his name is Leonardo and is Damien's best friend.

When thinking about Leonardo I feel really scared, he just remains me of my father. It's like I moved here with this monster and his never going to let me be.

It was dark outside, the garden looked beautiful and in that moment I wished I could be a part of the roses in the garden. They have a very short life cycle. They bloom and they die but when they die, they die with purpose and meaning.

The door opened, I turned expecting it  to be Amanda but it wasn't, it was Leonardo and his blank face instead. I turned back to the window and continued to look at the garden. I expected him to do something but he just stood there and we were in silence for a long time that I even thought he left.

I felt his presence behind me and grew nervous and a bit scared not knowing what to do and what he could do to me. 2 weeks of being locked up in this room and he comes now.

"The night is quiet beautiful don't you think." He spoke, braking the silence that was around us.

I just remained quiet, like what are you supposed to say to a guy who had you locked up for no reason.

"Babygirl I don't tolerate disrespect from anyone and you won't be the first." Again I didn't say anything nor did I turn, I just watched the night sky.

"You will return to my room tonight cause your punishment is over understand?" I said nothing again.

"Do. You. Understand?"  He said a little louder " yes" I whispered than he walked towards the door I assumed "Damien will escort you out." With that he left.
