Chapter 16

I think I'm gaining some weight but that was gonna happen anyway cause Leonardo is always forcing me to eat something whether I protest or not.
But I guess his just trying to reassure me that I can eat without having to worry that I'm gonna get beaten.

I sat on our bed admiring the necklace that he gave me a week ago. I haven't seen him much since last week. He leaves be for I wake up and comes back late, sometimes I try to wait up for him but its never a success. But I always wake up to notes to reassure me that indeed he was next to me.

Sometimes I feel a bit left out or alone cause Damian is home sometimes and Amanda is always with him and I just in my room so they don't have to feel like I'm third wheeling or something. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't care about me but then I look at  my necklace and the notes were he constantly reminds me that his work keeps him away and he misses me

During thoes moments I cry alot and feel like I've got depression. I sit there and think about  my life, its basically revolving around Leonardo and have nothing for myself.

A knock interrupted me from my thoughts. "Yea" I wiped my face from the tears I had. "Can I come in?" Damien's voice said from the other side. I opened the door for him. "Amber are you okay?" Concern was written all over his face.

"Yea, I'm alright." I said with a force smile. He raised an eyebrow, clearly not believing my lie, with a sigh he opened his arms and gave me a bear hug. All my tears came crumbling down, my body trembled from the sobs that left my mouth.

He held me tightly against him, whispering sweet nothings to me. He reminded me that I have to be strong for myself and him cause his grown to care for me. "You are gonna be okay Amber."

He pulled away from me and wiped my tears "Get some rest and I'll try and talk to Leonardo." He got me in bed and left. I embraced sleep which was a bit hard because I had a bit of a headache. My thoughts troubled me until sleep took over.

I woke up with a hand caressing my cheek softly. I woke up slowly, sleep was in my eyes, so I was half asleep. "Go back to sleep Babygirl." A voice said, I rubbed sleep from my eyes until my vision cleared. I saw Leonardo sitting on my side of the bed "Daddy" I said as I held out my hand to see of its really him.

"Babygirl go go back to sleep." He kissed the back of my hand. "But you'll be gone when I wake up." I said with the biggest pout. He sighed "Tell you what, how about we just lay down together, would you like that?"
He said softly, I just nodded my head in response.

"Have you eaten?"
"No" He gave me a knowing look. "Cause I wasn't hungry." I said looking away from him. He took out his phone  and made a call.

"Bring lunch to my room." He said with so much authority that I just sat there feeling awakard. "Yes" He hung up and looked at me. "Food will be here in 20 minutes." He announced. He made himself comfortable and started to undress. He took off his shoes, dress shirt and pants, clear indication that he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

He got in the bed next to me and rested against the headboard."Daddy." I said quietly hopping that I got his attention. "Yes" He gave me his full attention. "Can I please please go back to school please." I pleaded and even gave him my best puppy dog eyes. "No" I thought for sure that I got him but I guess I have to do a lot of begging.

"Please you can eve have a few guards with me please."

"Babygirl I thought we talked about this nd agreed that you'll be homeschooled." He said dismissively.

"But Daddy..."

"No know get over it." He said with irritation. As if on que there was a knock on the door.
