Naofumi pov

As I was holding Isabella's hand and looking around. I got scary looks from everybody. I got scared got closer to Isabella. She tightens her grip on me when a group of people walks towards us.

"Hey you demon!" The scary man yelled. I hid behind Isabella trying not to cry.

"And who is this" I see him get close to Isabella. She glares at the men as they gave her weird looks. Why are they giving her those looks at her?

"Hey pretty little lady since your a slut to the shield mind giving us a good time" He grabbed her shoulder and pulls her near him.

What do they want with Isabella?

"Please keep your disgusting hand off of me" She slaps his hand away.

"Tch...they now don't be like that baby girl just give us a good time" I hear his other friend laugh behind him.

Isabella pulls up her dress while the guys start laughing and it scaring me.

I saw Isabella reach her dagger.

I was going to look up but Isabella covered my eyes. I hear people start screaming and footsteps. I got picked up and we continue to walk.

Time skip

I wake up and notice where by a tent.

"Are you awake now?"

I nodded and rubbed my eyes. She took me in and I was scared. It was very dark and I heard screaming.

"Hello, folks what are you hear to by"I hear a man voice. I look down to see a small man. He looked very creepy.

"What are you looking to buy"

"Just something that can fight along side us," Isabella said.

"Come right this way" The man starts walking and we follow him. I looked around to see all these creatures. They all looked scary. They were nothing like the sweet and curly Kasel. I peek at Kasel and gave me nudged. He must be scared he doesn't need to worry I'll protect him.

I hold Kasel tight gave him a kiss on the forehead.

Wait does Kasel even have a forehead. I look at him he had eyes and big space above him. Of course, he has a forehead.

"He what you're looking for this will help you in battle" The man showed a dog looking thing. He had sharp razor teeth and looked very scary. I felt Kasel tremble and tried calming him down. It didn't work because I'm so scared.

"It will cause you 40 gold pieces"

"That a little much don't you think"

"Not at all"

I looked around and see this girl in a cage. I reach for the floor and Isabella put me down. I walk to that cage and looked at the girl. She was breathing heavily and look terrible. Does she not feel well?

I pointed at her and Isabella came to me.

"We have to help her she doesn't look too good" I made a sad face. She sighs and asks how much was she?

Wait why do we have to buy her?

"You really want that she sick and weak you should look at the strong creature we have here"

"You shouldn't call someone weak" I glare at him. He just gives me a smiled pats me on the head.

"You're too young to understand" I pout not wanting to be treated like a child.

He opens the cage and brings out her. She has tones of scratches on her knees and she has dirt on her.

She looks at Isabella in terror. I could see why she do to that Isabella very scary.

"Hello," I said and put Kasel on the ground for a bit. She seems scared of him and backs away. I pick up Kasel and put him behind me.

"Nice to meet you what's your name?" she looks at the ground not wanting to speak. Can she not speak? Is she shy? That probably what it is.

"You don't have to speak if you don't want to" She stares at me and looks up at Isabella. She seems so scared at Isabella.

"M-my na-me is Raphtalia"
