But I still can't just walk away from him.
I turned to look at Dan,and he's still in his deep sleep.So,I reaches for his chest and laid my head on it.
"I don't have much time.It should be less that a year.
No matter how wild you are behind my back,as along as you don't have a falling-out with me,I will accept everything you do."
I was surprised when he turned and hugged me back,but it wasn't him,he's still asleep.
Tears ran down my face hugging him more tightly.
"Don't be that cruel to me,I've never wanted a falling-out with you,but if you are really that cruel to me...
You won't be able to find me this time."
I left the bedroom,as I wanted some fresh air to clear my thoughts,but I ended up smoking on the veranda.
I looked down to myself,touching every part my body to look how much I lost.
I gazed out and saw a big round moon,with a cold breeze assisting him.
Fourteen years.It has been fourteen years.
I abandoned everything for you.I left my chance to attend the university I wanted and started an adventure with you.
I smoked a lot,drank a lot,give my everything for business.
It wasn't easy but we finally made it to something.
Yet,now I'm suffering another form of "hardship".
But who else can I blame?

As morning came by,I poured a glass of warm water to drink my morning meds.
Then Dan came into the kitchen,looking sleepy.
"Why are you up so early?I woke up feeling cold on my side."
As I drank my meds,I replied to him-
"I got used to waking up early.I haven't prepare breakfast for you.You should head out for some."
"You feeling unwell?"
"I'm okay,just caught a cold. Aren't you going out for your work?"
"Nope,I am here with you today."
"In that case,let me make something to eat.How about noodles with tomatoes?"
"Sounds good."
Dan then left the kitchen,then went to the living room.
I then heard a loud bang on the borders of the kitchen door.
"You're raising flowers?! I thought you hated taking care of the plants."
"My friend gave it to me.I'm just trying it out for fun."
"Which one?Where is he from?Do I know him? Why would he give you such expensive flowers for you to try out for fun?"
I ignored his questions and continue to open the plastic of the noodle pack.
The next moment,Dan was squeezing my wrist hard,shouting out my name just to get my attention.
"LOUIS!"
Ah,what a waste of uncooked noodles.
"You are allowed to go outside to put up a front and yet I'm here,not allowed to make friends?"
"What do you fucking mean by that?! While I'm out there working myself to death to feed you. You're staying at home thinking of shit like this?!"
Ahh..., 'shit' ; 'working' ?
"Do you think I need your help to survive in this world? I own 30% of the stocks and do you think that's not enough for me to cover the expenses?
This house is under the name of ours,don't act like you're my sugar daddy. Daniel,are you out of your mind?"
"Aren't you just scared of me digging into something deeper?
Who knows if you already have someone else out there?! You won't even let me touch you!
That damn plant is already enough for you to make a down payment of the house."
It's that expensive?
"If you aren't willing to return home,then leave! I don't care what you'll do.So you should just leave me alone!"
He's pissed.
I've never seen him raise his hands on me.
Tears ran down my face as I slowly lost faith in my relationship with him.
"So you're going to hit me huh?"
He stopped halfway through and went out of the house.

I knocked the door that led me to Dr.Aiden.
"Please come in."
"Doc.Aiden"
"You're here to take your medicine on such a cold day?
Here drink some water."
"I've also come to return your "house" to you."
"It's just a potted plant."
"I've vomited some blood earlier today."
"I told you to get the treatment. Aren't you just 30 years old? It's not too late to get a treatment,and it's not like you lacking money for the treatment or something."
"Please give me some more time sir."
"Fine,fine. For today please let me take you back to your house."
"Si..r it's okay. I'll be fine sir. Please don't be bothered for a mere patient like me."
"It's my pleasure" said Dr.Aiden as he opened the passenger seat and gently gave me a push into the car.
Well,I couldn't argue any further I guess.

"LOUIS!"
"Who's that guy that sent you back?!"
"A friend" I sighed as I was folding my thick jacket.
"The one who gave you the potted plant? How do you know him? Introduce him to me."
"He's a doctor.I went to collect some medicine."
"Doctor? No wonder he gave you such expensive plants and gave you a ride on his expensive car."
I kept quiet.
"So where's the medicine?"
Ahh....,'where's your medicine?'
Why not, "Are you sick?"
"How long has it been?"
"How serious is it?"
Why not those questions? Why?
"I dropped it in the car.
Don't worry,that doctor,he's perfect in every way.
He's young,rich,attractive and gentle.
He will not fancy someone like me."
"So you've become so shamelessly lonely because I haven't been home for a long time?
Why didn't I know that you were unhappy and lonely before?"
"You never noticed. Why? Am I scaring you?" I grin.
At that moment,all I know is a hot burning pain on my cheek,
