Official Terms: Sex Assigned At Birth
This one is self explanatory. Assigned (sex) at birth means the sex you were born as. For example, I was assigned female at birth. While the sex is assigned, that does not always mean that it is their identity, it simply means their genetic makeup is that of a male or a female.
Other terms: A(F/M)AB (Assigned Male/Female at Birth), SAAB (Sex Assigned at Birth), DSAB (Designated Sex at Birth), SCAAB/SCAB (Sex Coercively Assigned at Birth), AFAB (Assigned Female at Birth), AMAB (Assigned Male at Birth)
