To you who call us sinners
Those who say God will send us to hell
Due to our "selfish choices"
Due to the people we kiss and tell

You say God makes no mistakes
You say "the bible says it's a sin"
To be of a different gender or sexuality
To be who some of us really are, within

Apparently,
It's only acceptable to be Straight and not Gay
Are you telling those hundreds of thousands of people
To keep their feelings at bay?

If so, I applaud you
I applaud you
For doing the one thing
That God would never do

"God loves us all"
As a Christian, I believe that
God loves us
Whether we like a chicken or we like a cat

God loves us
No matter our gender
So don't go around insulting someone
Just because 'he' might actually be a 'her'

People who disrespect us
People like you
Are the reasons why we're scared to come out with our sexualities
Or whether we identify with pink or with blue

Why does it matter to you
About who we want to love
Or who we want to be?
Whether it be one, the other, both, more, all, or none of the above

And why do so many fights
Break out within our community?
We have enough crap going on from the outside
And you're just giving them more of an opportunity

We have more room to grow
As a community, and as individuals
So as we do so
Let's 'straighten out' our principals

I love you guys <3
